The Fresh Fish Place reviews
75 Had lunch here today. We were really looking forward to it. But were very dissapointed with the fish it was tiny and dry,
the calamari was very tough.if we dont leave feedback you cant improve.
But Im sure you will take on board what has been said and strive to do better next time.
I recommend the Fresh fish place. Lovely Staff and very professional. I ve had fresh oyster (superbe), mussels and Snapper perfectly grilled. Thank you guys we will be back again!
The Fresh Fish Tour was really informative & our friendly guide Kelly had a great sense of humour. It was great value for $20 which included a tasting plate afterwards.
Would highly recommended this tour if in Port Lincoln.
A great place for local and fresh fish. We had the snapper, calamari, and the fisherman’s basket and they were all scrumptiously and meticulously cooked!
Was ever so excited to go treat myself a seafood platter especially since I am on a pension, however I and my friend were both disappointed in our meal. The chips were nice, the little bit of our fish was nice but everything else was over cooked and for $27 was overpriced and underfed, with not one touch of salad. I will never go there again and will not recommended it to any of my family or friends.
Best fish and chips we have eaten.
Recommend the King George Whiting and chips.
You can tell that they change the cooking oil regularly.
Well done guys.
Beautiful crunchy chips and batter on my king George whiting. Fabulous coffin bay oysters. Great produce but expensive
Very disappointed. We made a point of finding a local seafood shop in town (rather than the big supermarkets) to buy local seafood. Of the 4 items we purchased only the prawns were Australian! The other items were from China, Vietnam and New Zealand (processed in China!). Very dishonest!
Had a magnificent meal; oysters, prawns, fish and chips. Superb food, lovely ambiance, friendly staff.
Not good. Staff lost the docket which meant we were left sitting there for 45 minutes with no food. Only when we asked what was going on, the problem got sorted, but still took ages.
Also if the staff are going to handle the fish with their hands, I would suggest that management provide the staff with gloves.
Expensive, over rated, dearest fish and chips i have ever purchased, got the order wrong, never going back
The worst restaurant I have been. Worst service, worst food. We waited our food more than 45min.we were the only customer.the food even don’t need cook. Unbelievable.
Had a superb meal of a fresh local tuna steak, chips & salad. Friendly and helpful staff, great value.
We were very disappointed with the prawns we purchased today. They had obviously been frozen and were soggy, soft, hard to peel and tasted like they had been marinated in old fish juice.
The fish tour was great. All the staff was helpful and cheerful. Best oysters. Delicious fish and chips. A great variety of condiments and fresh and frozen seafood. Going back to get some more.
