Spotlight Melrose Park

Typical Spotlight, good range of products, except excess stock, trolley's and ladders stuck in all the isles. A lawsuit waiting to happen.

This is the first time I’ve been to Melrose Park store. I only went to get a curtain rod but a sale was on curtains. One of the female staff was really lovely & helpful, she wasn’t near me but she could see me struggling with 2 rods as I have Walker she immediately just took them off me & took to the desk. After that I’d chosen some curtains & both her and Steve were so helpful.

If you also want to have a good laugh as well as exceptional customer service you just have to see Cockney Steve! & his lovely co-worker.

Steve went out of his way to help carried everything out and put it all in my car.

Great stuff thanks so much. I’ll be back!

Good range of blinds and awnings plus a huge lot of party stuff as well. Staff are friendly although somewhat thin on the ground

Came in with my niece to get some things for our fairy garden and got exactly what I wanted. My only issue was that the store is huge and area weren't that week sign posted/marked so I had trouble finding what I wanted but in saying that had no trouble finding a staff member to help which was a plus.

Dirty, no help and no order - had trouble finding everything I wanted. Bought nothing. Very expensive!

Some stuff is super cheap, others super pricey. Don't know until you go unfortunately.

Never stuff in the right spot though or always price tags missing!

Great range, especially good pricing with helium balloons however, long fabric lines and some craft stock is pricey when compared to big w etc.

Bought a quilt cover. Have just sold our house bought a unit so have to start out with some new goods

Not enough staff around to help you. Asked about overlocker and the staff member said she didn't know anything about them. A bit poor I think.

Spotlight store at Melrose park is a great place to shop for craft supplies, beddings, and party staff. I visited to buy a party/princess dress patter for my daughter. However, we did not find a pattern for the dress we wanted to make, although there are plenty patterns to choose from. We had to compromise on few features. We also were looking for silk (natural silk), and did not find the suitable color. I think we spent an hour or so there, and spent a bit more that I have planned. Nevertheless, We had some fun looking through lots of fabrics etc. Overall, it was a good experience.

Great range of craft items. Friendly staff and fantastic customer support. A little hard to keep covid safe distance with the narrow iles. This is a favourite store of my Wife and I.

Over crowded, rude staff, and difficulty working out where to pay for which products, morally negative experience and I won't be returning.

Good variety but customer service needs major improvement. Seems the store is short on staff and there's no one available to help out on the floor.

Very hard to find anything, staff to busy to assist, finally I decided to buy online, spotlight sent me confirmation that item on the way, and few days later they sent me email that my purchase was cancelled as they don't have on stock. Now I'm waiting to be refunded, not so sure how long it will take. Therefore I think spotlight is quite useless.

There was only 1 person (he did a great job) attending to curtain section with 3 people waiting. Only 1 person serving on front counter. So if I didn't really need the items I bought, I would have walked out.

Shocking customer service young chubby girl with long black hair would be sacked in any half decent store, giving one star is actually flattering NEVER AGAIN

Visited for craft items for my daughter's school vision/dream board. This place is huge. Lots to look at. A little pricey. $7 for a pack of 5 stickers. $30 for a half a foot of Velcro. Has a party section. I would check cheap as chips for crafty stuff first in future. Great place to buy material. Just never expected this store to cost so much. Definitely ask for assistance as soon as possible as you will get lost looking for specific items.
