Personally I don't find this store set out very well or maybe it's just not signposted very well for customers.
It's also hard to find someone to help you.

A good place to buy all your fabrics, homewares, crafts and party supplies. You can save fee dollars if you become their for free, online. However, I find some of the same items found here are expensive than the other stores like BigW, Kmart.

Not a lot of stock in. Good prices on what i did get though.
This store always seems to be in a bit of a jumble.
Staff friendly and helpful.

Very disappointing. The store is an absolute mess. Boxes in the aisles, baskets full of stock lying around and shelves are bare.

Store is always trashed, never well stocked, staff are few and far between and those you can track down will either send you on a wild goose chase or qr aren't interested in helping. Never had a pleasant experience here

Staff should not give information about products about which they have limited knowledge. We drove from
Carrickalinga to Melrose Park to buy some polar fleece that we were assured was available only to find that the product was not the product that we requested. Very disappointed indeed

Literally the WORST customer service.spotlight made me hate sewing.called them about repairs they just laughed and said "i dont know"

There is no floor staff to ask advice. The counter staff have people lined up so it's really frustrating. I'm not going back even for 30% discount. It's not a nice experience here. Maybe hire a concierge who can be at the front of store, do something please!

Everything you could want in a store like this, except just no staff. I always feel sorry for the staff that are there as they are over worked. I also took an item back the other day, (yes I had no receipt, but then item was only 3 weeks old), and could not get a store credit or anything and the girl seemed very happy about that with a grin on her face saying when you get that receipt come on back. Noarlunga was a better choice so I will go there next time.

I had to lign up 30 minutes to get help at the material cutting counter. This is unacceptable! No high quality woollen materials, only polyester blends?

It’s a special milestone birthday for me - we are going out somewhere special tomorrow night - I ordered a dress which I tried on today - it doesn’t fit me - I need to come up with a solution - wide black ribbon - i ring Spotlight Melrose Park to see if they have what I’m looking for - no answer - I rang it out about 10 times - left it for 5 minutes tried again - got someone- they put me through - holding holding for another 5 minutes. A girl says hello and then hangs up straight away. WHAT! I try ringing back - another 10 times - NO ONE ANSWERS - I give up. THIS IS THE MOST DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED - EVER. I am so sad - my whole night feels like it is ruined

Good range of items, excellent sales. Service is good although the line to get material cut from the bolt can be a little long at times.

Dreadful place if you have a disability, very disappointing. Parking insufficient. Left without a purchase, could not find a staff member to assist. Sad because the range of stock is great. AARRUUGH.

If the service was any slower I could have grown the cotton and made the fabric myself. It does however have a great range of textiles.

Very slow service today, only 2 operators on with one of them learning. Pity all the customers came at once and other staff going on lunch break when queue was very long.

Most of the other stores like Kmart and Big W have click and collect service. But Spotlight doesn't have this service in SA! They should upgrade their service!

Too busy for the staff to service you. Check out people very rood. Overall if not for the range of goods. I wouldn't bother.

OH & S appalling, boxes in nearly every aisle. Couldn't get a trolley as staff were using them all so I had to ask a staff member to empty one for me and she wasn't happy. Just generally a bloody mess. I won't go back there, Noarlunga is my chosen store from now on, very disappointing as I love Spotlight.
