Sage Hotel Adelaide reviews
70 A very good small hotel, overlooking the gardens. Most rooms have lovely views over Adelaide.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very good with a range of excellent options and very good staff.
Rooms appear to be recently refurbished, clean, very comfy bed, good bathroom with bathtub, overall well above average and for the room only, recommended. Buffet breakfast is a bit of a letdown, comparing to similarly priced other hotels. Also the park across the street from the hotel attracts some undesirable elements. Saw police arrests and interventions every day from my balcony.
Very nice service and amenities room was very nice and we'll equipped and the beds were very comfortable
Our fridge was in a cupboard that was too small for it, and there was mould in the shower. Breakfast was really nice though. The staff are friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
Dinner, dessert to slow for pics - lamb as a main, egg pastry with caramel ice cream for me and pork belly and mascarpone pavlova YUMMO.
Hotel is slightly dated with basic amenities. Room was only half cleaned on the second nights stay, and we had to complain. Fairly well situated on the outskirts of town, 20 mins walk from main shopping and central district. Would stay again, but as an economical alternative to something more central/modern
Don’t judge a book by its cover. Looks old on the outside but nicely renovated inside. Staff were efficient and friendly, rooms comfortable, clean, and well fitout. Restaurant service was quick and food was ok. Great value for money. Location a little out of the way but close to free city trams which makes it easy to get to the more happening parts of the city. Would stay again.
The hotel is nice to live but doesn’t provide most basic amenity DRINKING WATER! I have stayed in many hotels and even a budget hotel provides a bottle of drinking water. But this so called 4* hotel doesn’t place any drinking water in the room. The reception asked me to collect water from the bar.
Had a confirmed booking for a week. Then two days prior to stay the sent email stating it was unconfirmed. Their loss, not going to both with them again.
It's dated and the aircon makes a massive racket but comfortable and perfect for a transient visit. We've been travelling throughout the wine regions and this is a good spot to relax after the visits. 20min walk into the CBD, staff are friendly and close to the airport (20mins $20 via Uber).
