Sage Hotel Adelaide reviews
70Stayed in a king Balcony suite (room 913) furniture was dated and threadbare but bed was comfy and shower was hot and powerful.customer service was good but couple of the staff could benefit from extra training (not knowing what a Vodka & Orange was!) Food was generous and cooked well.
I come and stay at the Sage every second month due to study commitments. The location and balcony with price makes it the right choice. Its and the parks are safe.
Dirty stained couch, room had a funky smell to it. Double sheeted, to hide what was underneath?
Rude male staff upon arrival. Had to park next door at a different hotel and walk next door at night with children.
There was 1 polite lady who was happy to upgrade my room, which was actually clean.
Great service at the desk. Very polite, courteous and helpful. Rooms are great. Parking is as easy ad it could be. Good place to stay.
Friendly staffs. Stayed at level 8 facing the west and the city. Great view from the balcony but unfortunately it was 41c and the aircon was under power. Room was spacious and come with a sofa, a desk and a bath also! The coffee pod was good. Room and bathroom is clean and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast also was a generous serve!
The stay was worst experience ever. There was no privacy between room 402 & 403. There is a door inside the room that the divides the two suites. Obviously, the door is locked but what ever you speak or watch TV can be heard in the next room. Very uncomfortable and unpleasant experience.
Friendly helpful attentive staff.
Very clean and comfortable room.really comfy bed!
Great breakfast.
Golden North ice cream available via freezer in reception
Stayed a week, located in the city with parklands, room was clean with all the expected facilities, staff friendly and helpful an the dining experience was great!
Almost willfully uncharming and a little run down the Sage would not be first choice on a return visit to Adelaide. The room was clean and the service acceptable. The furniture was a little grubby. I stayed on a busy weekend so the rates were high for what you’d expect to pay for this level of accommodation. The Sage is definitely due for a refit and upgrade. The higher rooms have great views. The shower passed the reasonably tall man test.
Gauran Kapur our duty Manager was fantastic! We travelled with our elderly mum (92yrs) and nothing was too much trouble - we needed a room with easy access shower and Gauran was able to arrange that. He was helpful, polite and made our stay very comfortable Thank You

Reasonable rates. Comfy bed. Only real fault was shower over the bath, awkward for aging or persons not so flexible.
Stay was average. The room had a strange smell. The staff at reception provided a room freshness which didn't help much. However, the breakfast was awesome.
Stayed in a family room and was perfect for my 3yo and my almost 1yo. It was able to fit us comfortably. The price was very affordable too which made the stay wonderful as well
I can’t complain, but nor can I find anything too nice to say. Comfortable enough, nice views from the balcony, but pretty generic and a bit of a walk to Rundle Street and the river.
Nice friendly staff, good selection of 2 pools. Has 24 hr room service. Comfy beds and pillows. Coffee machine is a bonus.
Went to a function there. Foyer was well presented. Staff were friendly. Function room was air conditioned and seats were comfortable.
I have no idea how this hotel has 3.9 stars, the rooms arent clean and are super outdated. Food trays are left from lunch till the next morning. Air conditioner has brown stuff driped all down it, bottle caps left under bench in the room. Also how do you plan to accomodate tall people and people with a disability with a bath under the shower, so old fashined and not accomodating.
Worst hotel I have ever stayed. Old. Thin walls. Noisy air conditioning. Rust on the bathroom tiles. Sliding door to balcony did not fit.
When was nice friendly staff only problem was not much parking for people but they're staying in the motel
