RSPCA South Australia- Lonsdale Shelter reviews
69I wanted to look in there and find a cat that was picked up as a stray from my house but they don't allow that. I couldn't get my cat back, they could have done better!
Narcissistic.
Every response is the same. So sorry.if you can direct your reply to.
So we don't have to deal with you.
Or ever address your complaint in public.
Obviously a Great service for the animals, but didn't agree with adoption process and how meet and greet was handled by staff.
I was unable to properly be introduced to the dog so left disappointed and meanwhile the dog is still without a home. Shame
Amazing to deal with and the volunteers are all animal lovers with a major passion for the care and well-being of the rescues and such that they have.
Very informative to new pet owners looking for a responsible adoption / foster.
Completely useless website for booking a viewing made booking and apparently get told once U get there U have to receive a text but when U book an appointment it tells U a time but that's not good enough. Never support them again they need to make there booking alot easier. And no help what so ever at the front desk basically get told to bad and they don't even answer the phones.
Infortunately i had to surrender my beautiful cat due to health conditions it was so hard to see him go but the rspca treated us really good and understood and they reassured me that he would be rehomed very fast and he is only 4 i will miss him dearly but i know he will go to a loving home
Came up to get some bunnies. The lady who helped us was fantastic. A bit of a lengthy process/wait. I think we picked a day where everyone was adopting pets, which is a good thing so can't complain too much about that. The place is clean, staff are helpful, the animals look relaxed considering they're in a pound. Keep up the good work all
What a fantastic bunch of people, I had to surrender our three cats, which was very emotional due to the unforceable circumstances.the staff were very supportive in our situation, So a big THANKYOU to all of you.cheers Stewart.
Went to drop off some Royal canine unopened dog food as a donation. The staff member was so rude. I don’t expect to be thanked but a bit of common courtesy would be nice. I could have thrown the food in the bin. I do it for the animals though not the people but still I left feeling terrible. The women’s bad attitude would put people off from donating in the future
We adopted cats and dogs from RSPCA, the animals are lucky to be saved by RSPCA got vet check/treatment and ready for public adoption
There are animals therapist onsite and make sure the animals are ready to be adopted.
Its a organisation that truly deserve support.
Adopt = save animals lifes!
We were so welcomed by the team, and we adopted our newest fur baby, his name was Picha but now its Peter, thanks for everything
Its sad that we what to give up our cat cos of rental. This place it friendly an helpful. When time is right again we will get a cat again.
Please visit help a animal in need donste food and blankets its worth it you will definitely find your perfect fur baby there
Some of the staff are very rude and didn't know what they are doing seems like there was to many chiefs and not enough Indians
I drove an hour to come here, not even letting us see the dog, then how can we adopt?
I did book for a appointment!
Staff member who attended us was pretty unhelpful and almost dismissive to our questions. Not very friendly. Called the centre earlier and left a message to call back. 2 hours on still no reply. Will look for a pet elsewhere.
I travelled down some time ago to adopt a pup. By the time I arrived, he was on hold for someone else. The staff there were kind enough to let me still meet the pup. Great place and friendly atmosphere
Applied to be a volenteer. Have 52% of my lungs left and did not hide the fact ; Was told by a lady name do not remember that I needed to be fit? This is going back a couple of months mind you, Yet was there today and saw some that would have been less fit than I, Even my provider A, P, M was going to follow up nothing has been said! 1 starts for the volenteer debacle 2 star for service. This is mrtipps he has been missing since the 29th March. There is nowhere on the site one can contact this place as far as I can see;WHY? An update; He has been found yes by me in person, walking to the shops went past next door and he must have sean me as he started to carry on so I went over picked him up noticing his right leg is all but waisted away17 days way no food to eat and more than likely staying quiet till he had the strength to drag himself out where he would be found, The right leg will need to be amputated[cost]? The left will need to be refitted as it has popped out of the socket. I am not going to have him put down but fixed he is a fighter as 17 days away what did he eat and drink in this time? Will cost me, But I will find a way to pay for the bill.
He is worth it,
I went to the RSPCA friend to get a kitten they were very helpful and we came away with a black and white beautiful kitten which is now named Luna she is settling in well in her new home with all her new items that was purchased at the RSPCA so thank you for all your help.
Staff that attended us was cold and unfriendly. Told us to make appointment first and pointed us to a board where printed pics of animals are. It was our first time to go to a place like this and some friendly and courteous and cordial approach would have been nice and inviting.
