RSPCA South Australia- Lonsdale Shelter reviews
69Such a good place to adopt animals from I've adopted 2 rabbits and 2 cats from here and I just feel so happy that I can give those animals a better life
We adopted a cat. Staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about their cats. The cat housing area was clean and full of living cats whom need a new home. They also have a pet shop selling toys, food, cat and dog bedding. If you want a cat or dog, please look at their website or come in and cuddle a beautiful future family member. They accept unopened cat or dog food - donations. Well worth supporting and donating too if you want
Not impressed after ringing and being told that if the pet in questions picture is on the adoption site that the pet can be adopted. The pet I went out of my way to visit here's pic is still on the adoption site yet when I arrived I was told the boy had already been adopted. Great waste of time and money and disappointment
Thank you for doing a wonderful job helping all animals find a forever home filled with happiness
Fantastic, dedicated and professional staff who love animals. They're moving to a new facility next year, but are still providing outstanding care to many deserving creatures at Lonsdale. Great South Australians.
Our miniature poodle Sophie unfortunately escaped through our front door and was nowhere to be seen. We heard that a woman had taken Sophie to the RSPCA Lonsdale but when we drove down there there wasn't any record of it.
So we drove back home and doorknocked our street with no luck. Then we heard that Sophie had now been dropped off at the RSPCA so we picked her up and is now safely home. She was so pleased to see us.
Our beautiful girl Tessa we adopted from RSPCA. She came with some challenges, but the love she gives us in return far outweighs those. The communication and support from the RSPCA staff was awesome Thankyou
We're over the moon with the customer service, facilities, and new best friend. Even though the handler may not be available everyone knows about each gorgeous animal.
All staff are lovely. A special mention to Izzy and Leanne. Kind, patient, friendly, open. Fantastic experience.
An amazing experience for me personally I seen two dogs the first bella was so sweet
But Miss Boo won my heart this is about 2 hours after she moved in and ate and drank ️
Thank you to the staff for today you made it so easy to pick her
Today (Sunday 18th Dec) we went to take a look at the Cats & kittens and met a wonderful volunteer I think his name was Mitchel. He was really helpful. He had great knowledge when it came the cats and kittens and the different breeds and characteristics. Thank you so much!
We adopted a cat at the Lonsdale RSPCA recently. The staff were incredible at listening to our needs and environment and pointed us in the right direction when it came to personality and tolerance. We left with the most perfect cat for us. He is patient, kind and cuddly. My children are so in love with this beautiful 3 year old cat. Thank you so much for helping us find our forever furry friend. He is so loved.
Very helpful weather you’re recusing a animal or not, they make you feel comfortable throughout the transaction process.
I'm at peace with my beloved 4 - 5 dog will find there for va situation stolen time and energy to build dog enclosures to seperate them while we are not home rather then experiencing guilt of letter my goggieand anxiety and frustration. Thank ethulla
Animals other than humans need love and affection too. This shelter has been a long time super hero for all the unfortunate fury friends here in south Australia.
Operating with respect, integrity and love.
Please donate as much as possible.
Busy. Not sure what will happen to the kittens the feral left behind. Mixed comments from friends are a concern. The kittens didn't ask to be born, but they still deserve a decent home.
Transportation to get there is a challenge, the cats and dogs are adorable they are well cared for and some just wait for cuddles?
Grateful for them looking after my dog when he escaped and looking after him till I came and picked him up
Staff could work on their customers service skills. People really shouldn't be treated like a burden for enquiring about animal adoption.
Thay have good friendly staff and very helpful we love the bunny's we adopt from one black one creamy Thelma +Louise from the rspca
Staff friendly and helpful.lots of dogs here waiting for adoption and of course there were cats and other animals. All staff genuinely care for the animals that are in their care.
