Just incredible, the view is stunning, the food is cooked to perfection. One of the best breakfast I've ever had. Staff welcome you as soon as you walk in with a warm welcome. As a bonus if you order from the contactless menu from your phone the menu is discounted. Thank you so much, found this from asking Google "I want pancakes for breakfast" and this place came up as #1 and I can see why, perfection. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. 6 stars

The service was really good, however I ordered eggs Benedict and my friend ordered pancakes and the pancakes for both came out cold. The eggs were warm and overdone in the middle. Will not be coming back.

Good value for an enormous breakfast. They have gluten free and vegetarian options too, so great if you need to cater to a diverse crowd.

This place is so underrated! The food is amazing and you can even order at your table online now. Contact less order and payment, for peace of mind during this Covid craziness. Great job guys!

Fantastic restaurant, all day breakfast! Beautiful scenic views from inside/outside of the port with a beautiful meal to match. Coffee was delicious and service was surprisingly fast! Definitely recommend this place, thankyou again!

Disappointing experience - Took the family for breakfast expecting the food options to be bigger, tastier and more enjoyable.
Upon ordering I was told they do not serve oat milk for coffee's. This was fine, alternative was almond. Started ordering meals and was then told they don't have salmon, mushrooms or avocado. This was a surprise, especially for a place offering breakfast options. We added hollandaise onto our meals as an addition as there was no sauce included. Upon receiving our meals and coffees we were served our coffee's in takeaway cups despite eating in. This was strange, anyway when our meals arrived they were very light on with what we ordered. I. E 1 piece of bacon, on a tip top damper bun which was served cold. The big breakfast was nothing special at all, the hash browns were ok, sausage was cold though. The hollandaise was served in a plastic takeaway container and did not taste like hollandaise, we weren't sure what it was tbh. The coffee itself was disgusting and I'm not joking, instant would have been acceptable in this case! I honestly don't know how it could have been made so bad.
The points that made this experience very lack luster is the fact we ate in but yet they served our coffee and sauces in take away containers and the meals themselves could have been made at home for a 3rd of the price with the extras we asked for, and tasted 50 times better. Considering the focus on sustainability and the environment, using takeaway containers for people eating in when we had plates already and all they needed is reusable cups for coffee to serve in just seems lazy.

Love this little restaurant on the River (what a view) pancakes cooked to perfection by the owner. We go as a family regularly very generous serves. Fabulous food open very early seven days a week

Found a maggot in my food and the manager did not want to refund or apologise nor admit fault. “It fell in your food”. Yes, a legless, wingless, dead bug fell into my food and coated in syrup.

A nice spot to drop in on, friendly staff and quick service. Everything pancakes-ample maple syrup, and the best hash browns I've tasted.
They offer indoor-outdoor dining and best of all their pet friendly.

Excellent Sunday morning breakfast for me, the wife & 3 kids. All walked out with a full belly.

Perfect place for brunch with kids following a trip to the railway museum. Service was super friendly and incredibly fast. Babychino and kids pancakes went down really well. All good was delicious and it was lovely to sit outside right next to the water. Will definitely be back.

Good friendly service. Personally wouldn't go back for the pancakes, but that's personal taste.

Shakes were awesome and their crispy fried hash browns too. Serving was generous and the staff were courteous.

I wish I could give 4.5 stars. Everything was so nice, the environment, the staff, the food. The only downside is when my partner and I tried to pay online the website was soooooo slow and wouldn't let us do our payment. We eventually gave up and paid inside so we didn't get the 10% off. We were waiting close to half an hour waiting for the payment to work on either one of our phones and it just wouldn't load

A great day spent with family with awesome food and service, always a favourite, there were 11 of us and everyone including the grandkids were very happy with the service and awesome food available.

Great food and a nice clean environment with pleasant staff. Was a bit pricey so knocking off one star.

While the food is generally good, the wait between people at the same table can be a bit too dramatic. I'm talking about a 45 minutes difference between mine and my friends meals.
I half understand why they don't do bookings but it's really inconvenient for those of us trying to do the right things with larger groups and prams who'll need a little bit of space as they usually pack people inside like sardines. It's nearly reaching two years now since we've gone because of this, my sister entered a relationship and gained 2 young kids and I have a baby, we need a larger table and just some space for a pram, there's not really a spot outside to leave it even, baby is too young to just go in a high chair.
In regards to the maple syrup thing in other reviews: I love the way they serve the syrup I like being in control of my food, as for the serving issues go up and get another maple syrup they're left on the counter thats not a problem to them they wont charge you or question you.
The service is resonable but the layout seating wise is the worst fault with them. I shouldnt have to stand up completely out of my seat while eating to let my sister pass because the tables and chairs are so close together. Way too cramped.
The view of the river is nice.
They offer outdoor seating as well which is a plus.
The lemon lime and bitters has never been a disappointment in all the times I've been (not sure if they make it?).
The meal sizes are resonable (not a teeny tiny serving like some places).

Prices are average.
Ideal for small groups.
