What a selection of treats and pies, pasties cakes and breads! Missed out on the Cornish Pastie so got a regular oe which so so tasty and filling!
5 stars for the friendly customer service too

Amazing Lamb & Rosemary pies. Even more amazing vanilla slice. The custard is just like Mum's. Good coffee as well.

What can one add. This has been around for many years and is known for its quality. I cannot list the various items that I've eaten over the years but the food, and coffee, has always been first rate! Try it!

This staple Adelaide Hill's bakery has plenty of room to browse a great range of baked goods. They also offer a view into the back of house to see how its made.

Nice pastries, buns, cake & coffee. A very popular bakery with limited seating thanks to our CV19 mandate makers. Such is life.

Otto's is always a favourite when in the area, food is yummy, personally I like my pie a little crisper but overall still really good and friendly happy staff too.

Basic country town bakery. Everything tasted a bit like it had sat in the cake cabinet one day too long. Staff were nice

Allways great pastries from this shop, no need to think about the quality of the food they sell it's always tops, and the service is the same.

Always so many great pies and cakes to choose from, and all are always great quality. The staff are nice and friendly, and even though someone bought the last of the cakes that I wanted, they offered to make one up for me straight away. Certainly made me feel special on my birthday.

Very popular bakery. Always busy and the food is always fresh. Remember to be Covid safe and wear a mask inside. The line flows pretty good so there isn't a long wait. Love the pepper and curry pies but today I had a pasty. Still very high on the YUM scale.

My go to bakery in Hahndorf, plenty of staff to serve even in busy time. Large assortment of sweet and savoury snacks and meals. Great coffee, now with the addition of Oat Milk. Will continue to eat here with family and stop i on those long bike rides in the hills

Very crowded and not much space inside because of COVID. Pretty popular bakery, loved the curry pie.

Don’t know what’s the hype about it, the pastry sheet was soggy and chewy on our vanilla slice. Have had much better ones else where. Even the one at the Adelaide market is better than this.

The pepper steak pie I had was rich and flavourful. It had nice chunks of beef rather than just mince. Best one I've had in forever

One of the worst bakeries I’ve visited.
Pies taste like petrol station or frozen pies, no flavour, lukewarm and not fresh, the pastry tasted old and stale. No toilets on site either which is annoying for such a large bakery.

This place is an absolute disaster now. Avoid it!

Things have really gone downhill since Otto passed, God rest his soul.

My wife and I ate here and almost had food poisoning it was so bad.

They microwaved her croissant so it was soft chewy and gluggy.

The pie they served me seemed like the pastry was somehow both uncooked and stale. The sauce inside tasted so foul I threw it out.

We suspect they are serving day old or possibly days old food.

Whatever it is, it's utterly disgusting.

This used to be a great bakery. Not anymore.

This place sells the most expensive Bakery items I've ever encountered so I was expecting good things. $6.20 for a pie and $6.20 for a cheese kransky.

Firstly the pie. I had chunky steak and mushroom, it was ok but nothing really to write home about or justify the price tag.

The kransky though was absolutely gross. When you think Hahndorf/Germany you think quality German sausages/wurst. Instead the Kransky had a stock standard cheap supermarket sausage inside that wasn't even cooked so the cheese hadn't even melted! The pastry was also soggy, and was actually extremely unpleasant. A couple of bits and I chucked it in the bin.

Very disappointed, wouldn't recommend or return.
