Walked in and was seen by a nurse almost immediately! He was extremely nice and thorough, cannot thank him enough!

I booked an appointment via Hot Docs for 12.30pm, 2 Jan 2024. A while later I received an email confirming the appointment. On 2 Jan 2024, I drove 35 mins across the city to get there. On arrival the receptionist said the Doctor was not available that day and we tried to call you. When I got home (another 35 mins driving) I checked my phone and saw there was a missed call at 9.44am. Thanks for the waste of time / fuel! You need to take steps to ensure that appointments will not be confirmed if they are not actually available.

Had a 3.45pm appointment booked for my 18-month old, yet had to wait over an hour to be seen. Not easy to try and keep a toddler happy and contained for that amount of time. A call prior to the appointment to advise of the significant delays would have been helpful. My toddler attempted to run behind the reception desk, I grabbed him and apologised and the lady on the reception desk just glared at me. Reception were not welcoming nor friendly, and as such, i will avoid having to use this place in future. It's not difficult to greet patients warmly, nor unrealistic to expect it. Fortunately, the Doctor we saw was absolutely lovely!

Needed a last minute doctor's appointment on a Sunday for my son. Hadn't been to this surgery before but they fit me in, bulk billed and showed great costumer service.

I've been going to North east medical centre for many years. The service and care that is given is outstanding. The staff and medical doctors show concern and care of your situation.
I recommend this medical centre to many friends and family. In these hard times we are having with medical issues its reassuring there are people who care. Thankyou

Absolutely horrible waited 6 hours or more to be seen with a very small amount of people actually waiting obviously don’t have enough doctors on to get through everybody chairs are incredibly uncomfortable to sit in for 6 hours I hope anyone who plans on walking in goes somewhere else completely unacceptable

It was my first time seeing a doctor here. My usual doctors surgery was booked out but I wasn’t able to wait a week or more to see my doctor. I made an appointment and the whole process was quick and easy especially considering I was a new patient. The doctor I saw was kind and listened to me. I was very happy with the whole process. Will go again

I've always used this clinic as a walk-in option when I can't book with another doctor. Now, I don't think I'll use them for this either. Waited 3 hours, still 9 people in front of me in the queue. Nice receptionist but heavily understaffed doctors. Profit over quality perhaps?

This is by far the most unprofessional medical centre I have been to. Wait time’s easily 3-4 hours at anytime and good luck getting through on the phone.
The ladies behind the desk are very rude and super unhelpful.
One time I had call up to get advice on my partners cut on his hand because last time he came in and they stitched it up. Anyway this time he needed stitches but the doctor seemed sure he can’t help us we got hung up on multiple times and refused medical treatment. We were told to go to the hospital for 2 stitches we thought this was wrong and went to the pharmacy inside the medical centre they proceeded to tell us with supplies to buy and he patched my partners cut up.

Poor time management. Booked an appointment and showed up early just to be told there was an emergency the doctor seeing me was dealing with and I’ll have to wait with no approximate wait time given.

Finally being seen 1.5hrs after my supposed appointment time. Minimal examination done and swab taken and sent. No explanation as to when results will be given.

Rang 2 days later when they were supposed to be open and had no answer on the phone. Waited till after 9.30am before anyone pick up and was told test results had to be given by doctors and had to go on waitlist for a telehealth time slot. “The doctor will call you back when they can” was the time frame given even though I called early.

Finally got a phone call back from a doctor just to tell me the results are not back yet and to call for another Telehealth tomorrow.

Asked if doctors will call back with results generally and was told it was MY RESPONSIBILITY to call for my results EVEN IF THERE IS AN INFECTION. Doctors will only call back if they think it is urgent and was told doctors can’t be calling all the patients they see with their results if they see 50ppl. Asked the doctor on the phone if it was their duty of care to call patients back with infections and was told it is only if they deemed it urgent. Can’t tell me what is considered urgent as well. Poor etiquette for a GP clinic.

They want us to book in an appointment and charge us a gap just to have a result given to us, that is our right to know.

I am a real patient of this clinic. Very disappointed with the services here. Money mill for the doctors.

Most unprofessional gp centre there is. Wait times always exceeding 3 hours Cant ever get through on the phone.concerning for a centre that has such a volume of local patients.

Receptionist is a waste of time. Two occassions now that I have visited and asked by receptionist to wait. First time after 45 minutes, I checked to find out that nurse I was seeing did not turn up to work. How can a receptionist not know that. Second time, same, very frustrating. If you have all day then go there otherwise, you won't be seen on time.

This clinic has the worst group of Doctors! I Have tried multiple different ones and they ALL have the same attitude, rude responses, rushing you to leave, giving very little to NO details in whats wrong with you. Also making you feel afraid and bad to ask any questions. They are infact incompetent as others here have said. They are not sure on anything and cant give a clear answer. I end up always leaving wondering "so whats wrong with me? " Being SO confused that i have to book another telehealth phone call to just clarify what was said over and over. You dont leave feeling helped. I had to actually beg and Plead Dr. Ignatius to help me and then HE gives me back attitude and gets annoyed with me. Disgusting PLACE! Will be planning to only ever go back to just get a sick certificate or prescriptions.

The clinic didn’t inform me earlier that the GP didn’t arrive and they didn’t even know the GP was not available until I arrived and asked the receptionist. Anyway the GP I saw dr ignatius was quite good

Hot tip, don’t think your doing the Dr a favour by booking an appointment online otherwise you can’t be bulk billed! If you ring and ask for a call back when they are ready you don’t get charged! All a bit backwards to me! $70 just to get a 3 second cholesterol test result back. Don’t book online people, just ask for a ring back when they can fit you in!

They have a very hard time answering a phone and when they do they'll most likely hang up on you or pretend that they can't hear you.

My husband booked an urgent appointment the gp rang him 5 hours after his appointment, tried calling the centre and he was on hold for 45 minutes before the call was even answered for him to ask when the doctor would call. This is ridiculous, should not take that long for reception to answer the phone.

Dr Gambir went over and above when I was diagnosed with Covid. She spent 2 hours, along with the Nurse, talking to Specialists because of my medical history, to see if I would benefit / qualify for Antivirals.
She also did this last year when I was very unwell with another virus. She is amazing & very diligent.

When I have gone to this centre for walk ins or booked online this centre has been fine, however I have found that this centre of all that I have been to is extremely terrible at answering the phone.
