McDonald's Darlington

This review partly is low because I'm including their pathetic app. The app primarily doesn't work, so I explained to the staff the situation and said I want what I attempted to order for the price it would be in the app. The response was "well there's nothing we can do about that". This is obviously totally unhelpful and not true as there's always something people can do to help if they could be bothered.

Apart from this, just before this we were inside the restaurant, waiting at the front counter for more than 5 minutes, received NO service; obviously not good enough.

Came in tonight and went thru drive thru only to be placed in a waiting bay for over 30 minutes, I walked in to see what was going on, only to walk in and see my order just sitting there and to also hear the employees talk amongst themselves saying how they don’t want to bring out our food, we eventually got our food only for it to be completely wrong. We went back in and a manager re made it, thinking since a manager made it it must be fine we went home only to find all our burgers were wrong again they had no onion or pickles.

Almost all the staff on tonight were rude or just ignored you completely, I wasn’t the only customer tonight who was ignored and had they’re ordered messed up completely.

Also some of the overnight staff seemed way too young and over tired to be working at this time please just send these poor kids home to bed.

Burger slapped together, chip bag had about 10 chips in it, care factor was zero on quality and quantity.
Won't be stopping here again

Only small fries given when large ordered and paid for. Fries were cold and soggy. When I took them back to complain, worker took them from me without saying anything and did not return. It was not until I complained to the manager that anything was done about it. Will never use this outlet again

How long have Big Macs been around?
Both Thickshake & Sundae machines broken down. Driver ahead in waiting bay fed up waiting drove off.
Sadly Darlington McDonalds have been going down hill over the past years, quality orders are a hit and miss. This stems from the top - how is the owner of this franchise getting away with this non existent standard by not providing adequate equipment & training for their staff? !
30/10/2020 Edwardstown McDonalds - Big Mac perfect! Thickshake available & THICK - not runny. Double Choc Sundae had adequate icecream with adequate fudge on top & bottom - unlike Darlington recently with only light drizxle of fudge on top! The high McDonalds we've known for our lifetime.
How is it that the rest of McDonalds franchises in Adelaide are still getting it right, as opposed to Darlington McDonalds?

Absolutely disgusted. Not clean, almost slipped at the front of the cafe. The whole store was slippery and dirty. Couldn't sit outside as tables were so gross. Poor service. Unorganised

Don’t eat here. Especially if you like pickles or onions, since they don’t put any on even if you go back in to complain. Staff are rude and just grunt at you and cop an attitude when you ask what they said.

Staff need to go back to school and learn how to read and count. They need training to learn how to make burgers. Staff always messing up orders, food missing having to go drive all the way back no compensation. Food sloppy most of the time. Can be pushy and try to hurry you up when ordering.

45 minute wait in drive thrue, not unusual, as it's common to be over 30 mins wait.
Order is never correct and the quality is average.

There is no such thing as customer service at mc donalds since they installed self serve.screens are filthy no one cares I'm done.

Had to wait 5 minutes to pay for my food as I only had cash, then had to wait another 20 minutes to get my food. Chips were overcooked, large drink wasn't fill all the way to the top (about 2 inches missing), and saw 5 bottles of milk sitting out on the counter, one with a lid off, the whole time I was there (27 minutes) whilst it was warm in the restaurant. An individual in a grey top (worker) made a coffee with the milks which is highly unhygienic. My order was also deleted off of the screen before anything had been prepared, which has happened twice here.

Orginally gave this place a good review about a year back, but lately they've been pathetic. They always manage to mess up your order despite how simple it is. Stop continuously giving me sweet and sour sauce with my nuggets when I clearly ask for BBQ sauce. This has happened many times now.

"PAID" for extra Chocolate Fudge Syrup in a sundae, got extra ice cream and less Syrup, When people are forced to pay extra for something they expect to get it.

This place has without doubt (during the nights) the slowest drive thru in the history of drive throughs!

Very disappointed. Ordered 4 meals via drive through. Turned out all chips were undercooked. The two happy meals didn't have toys. I was given Roald Dahl collector box that I was told had the 5 books as an alternative to the happy meal toys. Turned out to be an empty box.

This is the 3rd time I have had issues at this McDonalds. I doubt we will go back.

Found the rest rooms unpleasant, so dysfunctional, service was non existent. Didn't even order just walked out to go else where. McDonals have droped the ball.

Garbage customer service just like all McDonald's and overpriced too. But food is very delicious, I'll give them that.

Ordered 2 Big Mac meals. Both had brown overcooked buns, one had barely any lettuce or pickles and the other had a heaping of yellow wilted lettuce. Absolutely rubbish!

This McDonald’s is one of the better ones in Adelaide. The drive through (because of the location, right near south road) is really busy and always at least 10 minute wait. The inside is clean and the service is fast. The coffee is average gut the food is always tasty.

Last 3 visits I've had issues with this Maccas: stale cold chips, a burger without the meat, and most recently 2 orders of fries completely forgotten.
