Excellent experience. Very friendly staff and great wine. The Mead flight was the best Mead I've had.

Great food and wine. Presentation was amazing, staff were friendly, welcoming and professional. We really enjoyed the flavors of the foods and view across the vineyard. The Honey mead is not to be missed either.
Oh and the have s charter for your Tesla in the car park.

Always came here for their honey mead, please please try their honey mead! They are so delicious.my personal favorite is the sparkling honey mead, it's not always available, but when it is, please try it! This cellar door has a maze, which we tried and it was really fun! Haven't tried the food, but when we sneak a peek, they looked good.

Outstanding venue with beautiful food and excellent wines.

This place is a must-do on any wine tour.

Beautiful place but thought it was bad form once we tried some cheaper wines and spent 185 dollars on them we still had to pay the 10 dollar tasting fee on the dearer wines not our fault the cheaper stuff tasted better than the expensive stuff.
Left a very sour taste

The food was really good. We only had share plates (they are small) to choose from, and so our group of 8 chose to go with 2 of each. Every plate was a taste sensation, and we were satisfied with the amount. Very well priced for the quality.

Had a great tasting experience with Maeva
(I hope spelling is correct)! Even though it was the end of the day, she presented all the wonderful wines with thorough explanation and a big smile.

Was having a great time but the occasion ended on a sour note when the manager rudely demanded us to leave for no reason. Our group paid $1500 which was no issue but the sheer contempt we were treated with immediately after paying was disgusting. Such a shame as the waitresses were very nice. Will not be returning, Alpha Box And Dice accross the road brought our spirits back, thankfully.

We're visiting from Perth and visited Maxwell Wines for lunch today, booked ahead and told them we were coming and the chef put together a 6 course vegan menu for us and it was nothing short of phenomenal! It was the most incredible taste experience we've ever had in our lives, the chef is so creative and talented!

WOW! How has this gem not got wider exposure. From the moment we arrived, the service was first class. We opted for the 4 course 'chef's choice' with matched wines. The courses were just the right size, brilliantly tasty and balanced with great wine pairings. Would have done credit to any 2* Michelin restaurant. Certainly equal to the best meal we have had anywhere in the world.

Recently had lunch with a group of friends, will not go back. Small serves, overpriced and terrible service

Maxwell Winery was part of the Sea and Vines event and as such put on an excellent show.
In this instance they had a live band (Mr. Buzzy) under a marquee and food truck catering to one side.
The atmosphere was very good, food very acceptable for the style of event and the alcohol seemed to flow liberally.
Crowd control was in place, worked well and everyone seemed well behaved.
Oh, and apparently they do wine tasting too if that’s your thing.

Went there for wine tasting in a group of 7 and they basically refused to serve us and we got told that we either can pay for a bottle of wine and cheese playter or go somewhere else as they can Only serve a group of 4! I even suggested to split up into two group but the manager siad “O yea you can split up and one group stay here and the other one go down the road to another winery! Ridiculous, very rude and unprofessional. Never go back when there is such a customer service culture in there!
