Marion Domain Medical & Dental Centre

Been a patient here since it's opening. Usually walk in but sometimes book an appointment. I'd hate to be in the medical industry over the last couple of years and am so grateful for the services provided. Pack a book or play phone games is my tip when there is a wait. The doctors and all support staff do what they can, always.

My experience.
Had a fall on Sat and was sore, bruised and miserable.
By Wed morning I realised that I may have broken a rib.
I arrived at midday to check in and explained my situation. There was to be a 4 1/2 hour wait.
It was suggested that I go home, rest and return at 4: 30pm that day.
I returned at 4: 15pm and re-checked in.
I was called in at 4: 45pm.
Once the consult was over I found that the xray department had closed.
I'll have to return tomorrow for the xray to be done.
I do not live around the corner.
Is there no priority set for suspected broken bones or terrible pain?
Just an all round frustrating and deeply disappointing experience.
I understand we are all pandemic fatigued, I work in a hospital Admin position myself.
But surely there are keywords that the Admin staff are trained to look out for?
Edit: I went back the next morning for the xray, was told by the radiographer he would put an urgent request on the results. 5 pm that night and I still had no idea if I had broken bone (s)
I called and was told I needed to re-present for results.
I explained that I was in really bad pain and also unable to drive due to pain meds I'd been given the day before.
He went off to speak with someone and came back on the line to say a doctor would call me with the results.
7: 30pm a doctor calls and mispronounced my name. He was so hard to understand but eventually told me I had 1 or mabey 3 fractured ribs?
36 hours to receive a diagnosis of broken bones.
Is this standard practice?

On Saturday night I attended the priority care clinic, the staff were very helpful. I had a procedure with Dr Maxwell Adams he was good, explaining the procedure as we went through the appointment. Dr Maxwell was so caring and very professional. Thankyou to all staff for making me feel welcome and at ease.

After me and my daughter waited for 5 hours to be finally seen by a doctor, we were prescribed a compounding medicine which is difficult (if not impossible) to be obtained currently. I attempted to call the centre both at the pharmacy and at home to get an alternative script issued but got no answer (waited for over 20 minutes on the phone). I now need to find another medical centre and restart the whole process. In the meantime, my daughter's condition is now getting worse for something that could have been easily resolved a lot earlier.

Extremely poor customer service by the receptionists always rude and unhelpful. Extremely long wait hours to see a Dr and also if you call to check availability or anything like that they make you hold the call for minimum of 1 hour and will eventually hung up.

Try to make a booking over phone and waiting for more than 25 mins but no one answered the phone, have to give up.

I've had to wait up to 8 hours for a walk in booking and today I called just to get a referral and the woman on the phone was possibly the rudest I've ever dealt with, how she's in a customer service role is mind boggling. I avoid this place as much as I can, but unfortunately my family often relies on bulk billing. The community deserves better than this.

Very poor service, one of receptionist is rude and apathetic. Went there 4 times only to get my test results, but the Dr I saw today rude and wasn’t patient, non professional at all.
Absolutely waste time

My Family GP is Dr V. Shah. Very satisfied with the services. Consult well each and every time. Gave us best advice and some time do a good family counselling.

This has to be the worst medical clinic in all of Adelaide. Save yourself a huge headache & go to Darlington medical clinic - much more professional.

We have been coming to the medical centre for about 3 years. Dr Vaneet Shah is our doctor who is very professional, helpful and always goes the extra mile. We have a lot of respect for Dr Shah and would like to say a big thank you to him for taking care of our medical needs

We heard Dr Shah was presented with a commendation recently and we would like to say Congratulations and very well deserved

Unorganised and understaffed regularly resulting in ridiculous wait times of at least 4+ hours. Rude staff at reception do nothing to ease frustration, and take no responsibility for the incompetence found here.

I don’t think this is a place that humans should be treated in. They treat people at the reception like animals. I waited for three hours, not just me but some other people too (might have waited more than me), we’re not seen because they said they don’t work beyond 8pm. Simply, they kicked (the three people who were waited for more than 3 hours) us out of the clinic. They keep checking in people, make them wait for hours, then simply tell them to go home in the evening. This place is a complete joke. People at reception need a million year length education course to learn how to talk to people, let health education alone. This place is nothing about health, medicine or any humane treatment. I even doubt the doctors work there ever seen a medical school. SHAME ON YOU!

I have been visiting this centre from 2013 till now. From Recently I have been seeing Dr. Vaneet Shah. He  is one of the kindest doctor that I have ever met. Always right with the queries and gives proper advice. His diagnosis always right.

I have visited this clinic few times now. I dont have a regular GP so I wait for any working GP to call when i do walk-in at Marion Domain. During my last visit I was called by Dr Vaneet Shah, little did I know that this call will change my life in a very positive way. I was suffering from an allergy from a very long time, told him the situation and he was quick and confident in his diagnosis and prescribed me the medication. One week after using I have noticed tremendous difference in the way I feel.
Many thanks doctor, now I have a regular GP to go to.
