Lukoumades - The Greek Donut

The doughnuts were ok, it wasn't that they were made poorly or anything but they overall were nothing special. You would be better off buying a dessert after dinner at whatever restaurant you were at. They are far too expensive for what you get, I think if I'd paid $8 it would be reasonable, $12 is excessive. The vibe is nice and we had no problems with staff as others have experienced.

There isn’t another place like this in Adelaide, Completely unique with an awesome variety on the menu, it leaves me stressing to come back and try the next thing! Also the traditional lukomades with honey and cinnamon are better than my Yiayia’s, and that’s saying something! Owner is a great guy, and easy to talk to, definitely love visiting this place 11/10

Photos on Instagram are very captivating and inviting! But when we arrived it has a very fast food restaurant vibe. The girl serving laughed at me when I asked if the store had a bathroom I could access and that it was too late that the public toilets would also be closed. The food was ok, but average for the price. It’s not a relaxed dessert bar it’s a fast food store for dessert.

I ordered from this place for the first time. Halloumi fries, which were cold, greasy and soggy, the tzatziki was just thrown in the side of the box. Also ordered chocolate waffle, don’t even bother, so very average.

I’m not usually the type of person to leave reviews but it’s just the worst customer service every time single time I’ve been at the Hyde Park store. I don’t understand why they are so upset with us? We walk in and they make us feel like such an inconvenience for them to serve us - I would understand if we visited before closing time but was only like 8pm.it just kept going downhill from there and my last visit was the last straw for me. No donuts are worth the attitudes.

Disgusting behaviour by the people a the Hyde park, the staff are rude and ignorant. Been there over 5 times, only once was i treated nicely. Donuts were not even good last time i went there, less chocolate and toppings then normal. Definitely need to look into who your staff are. Disqusitng additudes, lost a lot of customers. Passed the review onto my friends who go a lot. None of my friends are going to be going anymore. Sucks.ur staff ruin it for your business.

Had the worst experience with staff over at Hydepark branch. They were so rude and ignorant. Even after paying I was treated as if I asked for some sort of free food and they were serving me as some sort of beggar! The time I was there I also noticed that it wasn’t just me but they treated everyone the same way! There was an Uber driver who asked the staff 4 times about the delivery and the staff dint even reply once! I am food blogger myself but this is the first time I am reviewing a place with such negative comment!

It wasn’t bad but I expected better. I ordered the loaded gaytime lukoumades but I couldn’t see or taste the connection to gaytime. Presentation and quality of the desserts were average.

Had one hell of a day and was met with the kindest customer service ever. The donuts were the right level of doughy and crispy! Despite the overwhelming amount of toppings on the loaded lukoumades, it was a perfect balance. Thanks for bringing up my whole week.

Good service and friendly staff. Oreo loukoumades tasted a little oily. Had their Cheese cake on a stick aswell.

It's a trendy little place but I was disappointed with the desserts. It didn't taste authentic, not like at the glendi, Greece or other Greek restaurants.

Great stuff, just amazing ice cream, waffles and the cones. Just had the crumbled oreo waffle was just amazing

One word. AMAZING. From the helpful girls at the counter, to the quick service, to the extensive options on the menu, to the location and even the avalibility of parking. Earns this establishment 5 stars. Definitley will be visiting again.

Donuts were tasty and the flavour combinations were good but I definely recommend not doing take away if you want mix of flavours. Ended up with sauce and toppings all mixed up in each box, so it's pretty impossible to tell which ones were honey and cinnamon or which were Nutella. Service was fine but not fabulous. Best eaten hot!

Staff were super friendly and helpful but my greek coffee was very gritty and the minimum serve of lukoumades was too mich for a light snack so I didn't try them

Biggest waste of $27. Custard filled balls didnt taste right. Ate 1 out of the lot. Oreo shake was mild watery and gross. I tried uber this time as they get served first (prior to this i went in and waited 40mins as they 'forgot us' although there were only 2 other customers?) And they still arrived late and cold. What is wrong with this place? Horrible experiences both ways, staff and food wise. Overpriced is just the cherry on top.

Was good but not amazing. The donuts were really crunchy and sauce generous but other toppings were pretty scarce. The staff also seemed rather inattentive, with quite a bit of rubbish on and around tables despite being not too busy a night. Probably wouldn't return.

Arrived Earlier After Recommendation From Family Friends Who ALso Deliver Uber From Here Often. I Ordered 2 Serves. I Was Notified That There Will Be A 5 Minute Wait To Let Some Dough Rise. After Getting My Order In Less Time Than That, I Bought Another To Take Home And They Loved It. I Thought $12 A Serve Was A Little Pricey At First Because It Can Rack Up Quickly When Buying Multiple Serves But Then I Saw How Filling It Is And With 8 Balls A Serve I Understand. Good Value For Money Definitely

Customer service needs a huge improvement. Ran out of dough obviously at 130pm on Sunday afternoon, and wasn’t even greeted with a hello or a smile, just a “what are you after? ” Pour chocolate over anything and it tastes good, so you may need to teach your staff how to smile if you want to become a favourite with the locals.
