Lukoumades - The Greek Donut

Lukoumades, the Greek donuts, offer a decent taste but fall short of greatness. Their Nutella and Gaytime flavors provide a unique twist, adding a delightful sweetness. However, the overall experience could be improved. While the chocolates complement the donuts well, the texture and consistency don't quite match the authentic Greek donut standard. Despite this, they're worth trying for a different take on traditional flavors, especially for those seeking a novel donut experience.

We went there at 9: 55 pm and they were 2 staff members working and looking to each other and whispered something. And then once we were ready to order, they were like oh sorry we are closed now regardless of the fact that the business hours are till 10: 30 pm. Worst experience: (

Terrible experience always forgetting items especially through Uber eats, very disappointing when you’re paying for extras! Take time and care with orders it’s very frustrating!

And was burnt

Food is very good, and service is great. Had an issue with an Uber order (not their fault, drivers fault) and they were exceptionally helpful.

Set along a lovely street, a small dessert place offering mainly, as the name suggests “lukoumades”. The cafe offers a selection of Greek dessert with ice cream. The drinks menu is limited. The staff are nice and attentive.

Best donut ever! Nice and airy not too sweet just the perfect amount. It’s one of our go to place, we would drive 40mins for this. Wish there’s one on the northern side.

Tasha is absolute awesome. Service was fantastic. She was accommodating and so friendly. By far the best of the Lukoumades franchise and I’ve been to a few!

Flavoursome lukumades, good range of ice creams and awesome shakes. They have vegan friendly options too. Staff at Henley Beach is helpful and friendly and served us well. Highly recommended if you have a sweet tooth!

The worst waffles i have ever had, they used packaged waffle and one scoop of icecream for the "loaded waffle"

The Nutella one was so good, we got the Biscoff Fries as well and they were pretty damn delicious. I also ordered a milkshake way too sweet and I am disappointed the “normal” drinks were not on the menu such as water, soft drinks. I just wanted water but it wasn’t on the menu and I didn’t think to ask for it so I just got the vanilla milkshake which was $8

The worst waffles i ever ate. They are preparing waffles available in woolies. Better waffles could be made at home

Just tried Lukoumades for the first time tonight. These Greek donuts are absolutely delightful, the selection of toppings are a treat. Service from Natasha was lovely, will be back again soon

Very disappointing. Waited 20 minutes for lukoumades that had been sitting in a warmer, undercooked, Luke warm no crisp.

Non vegan items included in a vegan order.

Marshmallows contain gelatin, which is sourced from animals. They were not on the menu description.

So we had to wait 30minutes when being the only customers in the shop for our little bowl of lukumades, and when finally getting our food, it didn’t have the extra $2 strawberries we paid for.this robbery happened on the 11/03/22

Went to the Hyde Park venue, very disappointing, waited approximately 30mins to get under cooked and rubbery donuts, we were the only customers in there. The two young girls working were unprofessional and couldn't careless. Whilst preparing our order kept saying 'can you smell that it smells like vomit', to then throw the batch away to start over with new a new mix. However, the only good thing was the ice cream that came with it.

We found the Lukomades van at a food truck event. Totally hooked. Since then we have been to both shops and I will say the standout donuts were are the Hyde Park shop. They were cooked perfectly, nice and crunchy. Lots of topping. Will recommend. Especially the Food truck and the Hyde Park one.
