Hungry Jack's reviews
76 I went through the and placed my order. Everything was fine, until I parked around the corner to have my meal.
Unfortunately, the fries and burgers were just warm. They just did not taste the same, prefer hot next time.
I’ve been eating hungry Jack’s for 25+ years. Today I have just eaten THE best onion rings I have ever had from anywhere. The tropical whopper is pretty awesome too.
Just ordered a jnr whopper meal from the drive through. They misheard the order initially, corrected it, but somehow cost $10.55 for a COLD jnr whopper in a small meal. Thanks hungry jacks for an empty disappointed stomach. Won't be revisiting hawthorn hungry jacks.
Pretty good fast food restaurant. The usual, flat burgers, very salty fries and bad paper straws.
Food was as expected. Turkish muffin is not as nice as the old one, so was disappointed they took the old one off the menu, but what can ya do? Went for a ham and cheese toasty instead. Place was pretty dirty, which was surprising for 8.30am. Playground was broken and off limits, and some local teenagers swearing, hanging out, bludging school. Didn't have a good vibe. Won't be back.
Double check orders before you leave the store and when delivered. The staff are brilliant at NOT double checking the orders are correct. Missing items, wrong burger and cold.
Very disgusting kitchen, such an old building, lucky they are building a new one on goodward road.
Plenty of easy parking.
Friendly and very helpful staff.
My meal (burger and fries) were fresh and hot.
At around 30 years old, the building is becoming dated.
Probably the dirtiest Hungary Jack's in Australia this place was filthy, every table was dirty.
Always fast service. Our go to local drive through. Store inside is getting a bit tired and could do a with a tidy up or Reno. But service and food is always spot on. Especially from the early morning Crew who are always friendly and quick.
Normally efficient. Today (12.30pm - only customer in drive-through) burger and chips came quickly but some hold-up with coffee. Three people serving; much giggling. By the time coffee came, burger and chips had cooled. Coffee itself was three-quarters full, no crema, cool and lid did not fit. Meal in all a disaster - $16.70 wasted!
Very run down and uninviting dining area, well over due for a renovation. Fries were boxed up before burgers ready from already aging fried stock so luke warm when we got them. Not much evidence of chargrill on burgers or bacon (microwaved?), albino burger buns looked under done in some way. Stark contrast to other HJs we have been to recently.
Dirty. Dirty. Dirty.and in need of repair. Did not serve customers in order. No (actually negative atmosphere)
One of the worst Whoppers I have had. Bun was stale, burger was cold, far too much mayo. Chips had clearly been cooked a while ago. Soft serve was good.
Bad place as the drive through is bad, and the food is cold and the coke is disgusting. Foe a fast food place you would expect better, however they have kids running the place need I say more.
Terrible service, I wait 30 minutes for my order to be taken, then I had to wait ages for my drink to be ready, the service here is horrendous
Hungry jacks in general is alright but the Hawthorne one is not. It is there, but i would prefer it if it was not.
No dramas at all ordering here. They even had a sign up telling you to go to the next window - something a number of hjs find difficult to copy.
I first came to this hungry jacks in 2014, a young women by the name of eve served me and gave great customer service. Went back in the last couple of weeks and was impressed with the great customer service again.
The only thing that could improve this hungry jacks is maybe some renovations, they used to have a jukebox and some pictures on the wall so the store looked so much better.
