Hotel Ibis Adelaide reviews
74Gentle and warm staff, nice and central location, clean and fully furnished rooms: even more than the usual good value-quality combo always delivered by Ibis.
I have stayed here a few times now and every time the staff have been really friendly and helpful with early check in and late check outs. It is clean and in a great location.
Basic, budget hotel with small rooms. It's in a good location, but it's VERY noisy. There is noise from outside late into the night and early in the morning and the rooms aren't very soundproof so expect to be woken up! It's also very difficult to get a coffee with breakfast - the poor girl is totally overworked trying to greet a constant stream of guests and make coffee. 20 mins later still no coffee. You need to staff this differently.
Good spot in Adelaide. Rooms are of good size and clean, but street is a bit noisy. Office desk facing the city is very convenient, when you're there for business.
Breakfast is reasonable and bar is not overpriced compared to the closest bars. Last but not least, staff is super friendly and efficient.
A nice hotel to stay at when in Adelaide. My wife and I stayed here on our last trip to Australia and found it to be comfortable. The rooms are a bit small but the on-site restaurant was good and it was walkable to the market, restaurants, and coffee shops.
Conveniently located hotel that is always clean and tidy. Possibly the best Ibis hotel in Australia given how new it is. The room did smell a little funky when I walked in but it went away after i turned on the air-conditioning. Would recommend if you're looking for a no frills business hotel and don't mind the smaller sized rooms.
Location good
Staff great, warm and attentive (aside one)
Rooms are good for the money and very clean
Bar is good and drinks reasonably priced
Brekkie was very average and that is being kind.
I heard a lady customer ask a staff member about food allergies in a dish and the response was rude, inaccurate and worrying
Modern clean comfortable rooms, great location close to restaurants and shopping in the city. They don't have on site parking but very short walk to near by parking garage.
Stayed here for my birthday. Room wasn’t too big but just perfect for two of us. It was also very new and clean. Service was great. My husband requested a fruit platter surprise for me, and it was there when we entered the room. What a lovely surprise. Will definitely stay here again.
Located on Grenfell Street in the Adelaide CBD. Has 24 hour check in. A casual bar and restaurant. Includes a breakfast room and has a fully equipped gym. Good service. Decent quality of food and services.
If it’s cleanliness, convenience and congeniality you’re after you can stop Googling right now, and if it’s value for money you’re after this place has got that covered as well. I stayed at the Ibis Adelaide with my family and it exceeded all expectations. Thankyou ibis team!
Love the location, staff is friendly, room is clean AND nice. Contrary to other reviews I found the room big enough. The meals for lunch and dinner are good. The only thing maybe is the cooked breakfast. It’s not up to
my standards. But hey. What do I know. The room is great. I’ll be back!
The rooms are so neat and clean. I have stayed at 5 star hotels previously for visits to Adelaide, but this stay with ibis has been the friendliest and most welcoming. The rooms are extremely well designed to ensure every space is well utilised. My only complaint is there is no suitable power points for my laptop as they're obstructed for larger adaptors. Staff are exceptionally friendly.
Room is not worth what we paid for, i would think a prison cell would be bigger, the shower fan makes that much noise you get a headache, NO aircon we only stayed for a night that wasn't hot but sweated. Hate to see what it is like on a 40 deg day.
Central location. Close to the Rundle mall and restaurants. Room was in good condition and the bed reasonable. A bit noisy though. Service was excellent. Friendly and accommodating.
Staff are very friendly, rooms are neat and tidy, modern and comfortable. Very compact, not really anywhere to store clothes, but only staying a couple of days so that's not a big issue. The windows could do with a clean, but I guess there's not much you can do about that on a high rise building in any regular fashion.
Stayed here 12-17 september 2018.good place to stay front of counter staff good to deal with room clean tidy good to stay in.close to all bars, restraunts, public transport, casino.the staff passed on any messages to me left by tour company's either by phone calls or comming to room to make shore we got message.it was a 10/10 for the holiday stay here
Very average inner city hotel. Expensive! Subject to surge pricing during stay. No room service. No bottled water. Breakfast very average. Had to clear my own table. Not worth $300+ p/n
The place is clean and tidy but suffers from: very dirty windows for city views, no fresh milk (long life only). If you want fresh milk you have to go get it from kitchen yourself (no room service!). Skimpy on the shower soaps and toilets rolls. Only has nescafe instant coffee (yuck). Overall it's clean, tidy and ok but for the price don't go.
