Hotel Ibis Adelaide reviews
74 We stayed in the superior twin room facing the hills. The view was stunning. The room was exceptionally clean.
We had breakfast which was fabulous. We are suburb dwellers that will definitely stay at the Ibis next time there is a city event to attend.
We had 2 rooms staying total of 5 nights. Great locations, beds are comfy. Rooms are small but ok for seeing the city. Only comment is don’t bother with breakfast. Coffee is really bad, food was very inconsistent. Bar does happy hour which is good. Also hotel does not have its own parking. If you park on the street remember to check the parking signs, download the app as we got fined at 8.24am. Parking started at 8. If your going out everyday then it’s cheaper to park on the street. Even with the fine our parking was cheaper than the nearby parking block
We couldn't have wished for better service, it is closed to the royal Adelaide hospital, trams, Rundle mall and the casino we loved our stay and are definitely coming back.
Nice Hotel, arrived late and checked in easily.
Disappointing that I was charged $30 for disabled parking which I find pretty rude considering I need a car to get around.
Never had this issue with a Hotel for a very long time as normally they provide this service free.
Considering the pice $140 per night, it was a good deal. In the room there was not much at all, no drinks, food and any extra was not included.
No parking, you have to park next door, to a car park ($23 per night).
Also the room was perfect for a great fit for an elderly person or someone with disability.
The shower does not have boundaries and does not drain well so after a shower the bathroom was wet everywhere.
Anyway it is okay
Rooms are clean but compact. Modern and comfortable. If you are after a conviennent affordable low frills accommodation, this is the place
Smooth check in and check out process. Rooms were clean and serviced daily. Staff were well mannered and the hotel was well maintained. However, the food is overpriced for the level of quality that is served at breakfast and dinner. In all, thank you for a great stay.
The room was on the smaller size but I have stayed with Ibis previously so it is to be expected, tidy for the most part and beds made daily. Laundry was clean and operational, vending machines on each floor you can pay using your room key. Restaurant was modern but the breakfast was a bit hit or miss, sometimes stuff was cold and the staff seemed distracted - getting the order wrong etc.consistently during the visit.
Bit of a hassle to find a park just to check in and then also to park in general. Room and staff service is great though
Thanks IBIS for a great hotel stay. Great location. The bed was super comfy. The pressure was good in the shower. The bar was only great to have pre dinner drinks, as for breakfast, they were super slow, I finished my meal before my coffee came. I would recommend more staff are put on during these times, as two people can not keep up, more toilet paper is supplied in the room, there was less than a 1/4 left on the roll and none in the room, had to go to reception to get more and that two towels are provided per person in the room, especially if rooms are not been serviced unless asked.
Management is good.well the front staff James is a good man, attentive and kind.
Kitchen was closed so no comments
The room view was beautiful but the room itself 2 star.
Not impressed at all.
Only James gets 5
Great hotel to stay at. Considering the price, the rooms and facilities are great. The staff are brilliant, they're all brilliant, accommodating people. We'll be back!
Nice staff, they really do all they can to help. Rooms are clean and comfirtable but very loud. You can hear the street even on the top floor, I cannot inagine the noise on the second floor. Breakfast is just a big no no, don't eat there. There is some other options around.
Friendly staff, spotless & comfotable room. Great price & location. Best wi-fi I have ever had in a hotel! Definitely recommend.
I visited there for some professional training, loved the overall atmosphere, staff was really good, food was delicious too.
It wasn't too bad i just didn't like the first room i was given lots of road noise and early morning construction.but they moved me to the other end and it was perfect
Needed to find somewhere pleasant to eat that was wheelchair accessible. Food was good and the bar had a reasonable selection of beers and wine. Friendly staff made the experience!
Great value hotel stay. Comfortable rooms with on site bar and restaurant. Very close to Rundle Mall.
No on site parking but you can use the nearby Wilson Parking at a reduced rate if you see Reception.
Firstly I found the room cold the quilt thin and bed small. The towels were thin and also very small definitely not 4* quality. On attending the bar there was literally no stock no wines no beers however the barman was trying his best but you could feel how embarrassing it was for him. When we tried calling for what you call your 24/7 food service the phone rang out 6 times so we rang reception and was told they aren't sure if they could do a duo off dips at 3pm? It also says they are house made and they were not being in the industry i know this. Lastly i ordered a burger again on your 24/7 menu that in my whole life never seen such a poor effort in what is supposed to 4* hotel i also ordered a bottle off coke that wasn't cold. The fact the customer has to pick up is poor let alone return because it was in edible. Wont be coming back and management needs an overhaul no stock terrible food.
Hotel Ibis is conveniently located on Grenfell Street only a short walk to the Rundall Mall. I stayed for work and found the rooms to be clean and adequate. There is a mini bar, tea and coffee facilities and ironingboard and iron in the room. The hotel has a bar and restaurant and the meals are reasonably priced. I would recommend the Hotel Ibis for anyone seeking a reasonable priced accommodation with average amenities
