Hilton Adelaide

The Hilton is the Hilton. You know?
Perhaps slightly improved over the last ten years.
Clean, tidy and service is fine.

Nothing special, but nothing to complain about.
(Besides how early the bar closes. That's worth complaining about.)

Absolute worst hotel. Would not recommend. No parking at hotel. You have to park 200m plus down the road at a parking complex. They do give you a discount voucher for the park lot. Which turn out to be more expensive when I added the voucher into the machine.

Good deal with the great state voucher. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was comfortable however lacking amenities such as robes and slippers for two. Room also slightly old looking but nice enough to spend the night (King Deluxe Room)

A lovely getaway for our daughter's birthday in the heart of the CBD right next to the central market! We were welcomed well, had a fantastic view in our room with opening windows and our kids had the best time. Room needs a bit of a refresher but certainly very clean. We really appreciated the lovely gift for our daughter too.
Recognise this is a hard time for all in this industry.
All in all a really great stay. Thanks for a great family night away.

Neat and clean room- standard size room and bathroom.nice view of Victoria square.easy location.self parking close by.friendly staff. 24 hour in room dining (though limited menu). Gym, pool, tennis court was all closed due to restrictions

The two gentlemen at the front counter was extremely welcoming, they was having a bit of trouble with the computer. Shorted it out remained friendly. Enjoyed our stay in our clean & comfortable room. Definitely would recommend.

Lobby and restaurant are impressive. The meals I ordered were high quality (steaks were among the best I've ever had) although staff were a little over-attentive. Breakfast offered more options than standard at most hotels - I particularly enjoyed the options catering towards their Asian guests. Made a change from the usual bacon and eggs, cereal and toast common at breakfast buffets.

Above the ground floor the accommodation floors were gloomy. Coridoors are decorated entirely in dark greys and black, very dimly lit and not a single picture on the walls.

The rooms are very standard and bland, and again, not a single picture on the wall to brighten it up. For seating in the room there was one tub chair (certainly not suitable for relaxation) or the bed. Designed for the single traveller, not for couples.

Bathroom was extremely small. Had to stand in between toilet and vanity to open or close the door.

There are other options within Adelaide City that provide much more comfort and ambience for the same price. However I will dine at their restaurant again.

We travel to Adelaide every year to see relatives and friends from Wodonga in northern Victoria. As far as we are concerned this is the place to stay as it is so central, overlooking Victoria Square or the City. Our car is taken away for us to and from the Hotel so there is no walking to a Parking Station. The service at this Hotel is second to none. Each evening before dinner we love having a drink at the Bar in the Hotel and also at the Collins Bar overlooking the Square where you can watch the world go by. We upgrade to a Junior Suite and it is just perfect considering we always stay for about 10 days. The rooms are very clean and in particular the Junior Suite is very spacious. I could not fault the Adelaide Hilton. It is our home away from home.

Had a conference dinner, very very average, the week before I went to the Melbourne convention centre, which was awesome and high quality. Lazy entree, bland main and some cheap dessert. I am from Adelaide and feel sad, as the Hilton is something we should be proud of.

Good location in city. Air conditioning was terrible, room was hot and made it hard to sleep. Called reception three times but it was not fixed. Management did respond to my complain via email post my trip and apologised which was nice but I would still avoid during the warmer months.

We were in the executive rooms which was quite spacious. The rooms were very clean and nothing looked old or over used. Though the bed was huge it was very hard and the pillows were very thick and slightly uncomfortable. The buffet breakfast was a highlight. Hot food, sweet food, a huge array of breads. It was too hard to work out where to begin. The overall experience was enjoyable and I would definitely recommend

The room was average, we found bottle cap in the ground and further inspection we found more under the chair. Bathroom cleaness was less than average. The bed was not comfortable at all, we were expecting queen size but it was teo single put togheter which leave the gap in the middle. Purchasing at the counter attract a 1.5 % merchant surcharge couldn’t not believe. Anyway, not recommended.

They did not provide any complimentary toothbrush and toothpaste for the stay. Also a tissue box on the side table was expected. Hence four star.

Joined breakfast buffet with relatives staying at the hotel. Pleasant but not deluxe experience. Staff were doing their best but needed several extra hands on board for the number of patrons. Notwithstanding the self service style of buffet. Coffee machine broke down. Cereal options disappointing. Could be improved.

During our stay at the Hilton Adelaide, I have been very impressed with the service of the staff. They have been very accommodating and I was especially impressed with the contract prior to arrival by text. The location is fantastic, being right next to Victoria square, the tram system literally out the front door and free for inner city transport. Our room for this visit was more than we expected with great views overlooking Victoria square. The room has everything you would expect. We had access to the club room and again the service other staff was excellent. We will definitely be coming back here again in a future trip to Adelaide.

Amazing 5 star service from everyone at the hilton adelaide. Thalia was great and really looked after us with her 5 star service. The grill restaurant was amazing. Wagu beef steaks where the best we have had. Well done hilton adelaide.

Hilton Adelaide claimed to have wheelchair accessible room but the bathroom is so small and cramped that even someone with a small wheelchair will not be able take a shower without a helper.
The staff was very helpful but there is nothing much she can do to rectify the problem

Loved our stay here. Breakfast buffet was included. Directly across the street from Tram. Staff extremely professional and helpful.

Attended the MLSA Awards in Ballroom 2. A phenomenal experience, great food including a 3 course vegan meal. Entertainment was great, lighting and atmosphere was impeccable along with great service with a smile. Very privileged to have attended and would highly recommend this venue for large functions and events. A thumbs up from me.
