Just brilliant and tasty pub food. Just good food that your happy to pay for.
I had graziers beef pie with mash potato mm yummy! And hubby had beef korma and wasn't hot but just great flavours.

Five friends lunch. First ever visit and since refurb. Excellent friendly service by all staff at this venue. Very professional, engaging and warm without fail. Terrific specials and diverse menu including GF, creative vegan/vegetarian and delicious modern pub fair. Generous serves with large fresh side salads. Also complimentary warm crunchy rolls for the table a nice touch. Comfortable, very clean, tidy contemporary aesthetic. Also big points to management in respecting the hospitality etiquette of quiet "background music! " We appreciated being at a 'social' venue and hearing each other for a change. Refreshing and relaxing place to visit. An obviously organised hotel with some of the best staff ever encountered. Highly recommend a visit to the Halfway Hotel. We will return

Terrific customer service and each time I've been it's clear they take pride in the food they serve. Good value for money, will visit again.

Had a reservation for 11. Apon arrival the menu was heavily reduced due to fridge failure. Didn't receive a call advising of very limited menu options. Banner advertising $10 off steak however steak was not even on the menu. No discount offered due to fridge failure and limited menu selection. Won't hurry back here!

Steak night was good selection of meats. Chef was RUDE as we didn't know meals finished at 8pm.

Was not happy with the food at this venue, we gave this place a second go following a previous not so good experience with their food. Wont attend anymore. Disappointing

Pretty good and decent location of ALH. IF you are working for woolies or it's sister companies you get discount for food too.

It's a nice place but not fancy. Good food. Although the crispy skinned pork wasn't very crispy. However the flavour was great and I was still happy with my choice. For those who ordered steaks 2 out of 3 were happy with how it was cooked. The 3rd was undercooked but he ate it. However he wasn't very happy when the waitress cleared his plate (while he was taking our son to the bathroom) and he hadn't finished. Great coffee and cake deal of $7 to finish off a lovely meal.
There is a kids indoor playground (which could do with some ventilation and air freshener as it smells like socks). For the few negatives we were overall happy with the evening and even my husband said he would go back.

Dropped in today for a quick lunch food was fine beer was cheap but for gods sake get someone to give Andrew a hand when hes under the pump taking food orders he shouldn't be getting drink orders as well took 20 minutes in the queue to order 1 meal

Served raw bread roll to start.and got 2 rib eye fillets ordered with pepper sauces, both medium rare.came both blue with 2 mushroom sauces.so sent it back to cook more.when we get steak back, one of rib eye was half eaten.so called waitress who served and said it's not right.her response was "we are not using new steak.using same one. ", when i said "look at this, theres half missing! " the reply was "it's depends on how it's been cut. " I understand that they use same cut, but send off the same steak, didn't even eat it, after sent back came out half way!: (can't even serve proper sauce either.didn't ordered mushroom sauces.

Steak night. Buy one get one. So price is fine and the steaks were great. Cooked really well. Not over. Just as ordered. Definitely worth a look. Will definitely be back.

Even If the chicken schnitzel wasn’t a reheated frozen one, it certainly tasted like it was. One star for the chips.

We booked the hotel table fours ago. So today we went to there and ordered 4 lobsters and paid it. But 3 mins later the waitress said only 3 Lobosters left. She Asked us order others. When we were still considering what we would like to order. The waitress came to tell us again. Actually only one lobster left. This restaurant mananagemeny needs improve a lot. We were driving 40 mins to this restaurant. Waste our time and the foods were incredible.

Nice food, reasonable prices, easy parking, friendly staff, refreshing beverages and pleasant atmosphere made our experience one I would happily repeat. I'll be back.

Great friendly staff and the food quality is always up there with the best pub food. If you go for a steak you will not be disappointed. The drive through bottle shop guys are alway willing to help you find something good to drink.

Food was great, was very busy being last work day of the year for most places, we still managed to get a table and the food didnt take long at all. Kangaroo was cooked perfectly

Went for my Mother in Laws Birthday dinner tonight. The service was fast and efficient. We had a large group and the waitresses catered well to the different needs of our group. Dinner was delicious with generous portion sizes. The hotel caters to families with an indoor playground and colouring in. It makes for a pleasant meal.
