Halfway Hotel

Myself and my partner order schnitzel's chicken was under cooked. Chips and gravy was nice though

Eye fillet steak perfection on a plate PLZZZZ dont change the chef.

Our table was so happy with their meals tonight.

Asked for beef schnitzel with veggies. Received with chips which I didn't want. Schnitzel was thick, full of gristle and dry. Mushroom gravy was bland. Wouldn't recommend.
I will not be returning.

Today met a male version KAREN. Who needs to work on his people skills and furthermore I would put ZERO if i could.

Wow, who would have thought that in this pub I was going to get a fantastic tasty lunch, and the size of it was way more than many other pubs. The fish and chips was hot crunchy chips and 2 great pieces of fish. I needed a foggy bag to take home. The apple pie was so delicious, full of apples, though I could have had more ice-cream on the side than was given. Overall it was really great. Will come again. Salt and pepper squid looked good too as the chicken snitty did as well.

Was there for matildas semi final. The place was popping, simple but nice decorations, friendly staff and the steak sandwich was one of the best I've had

ONE OF THE BEST PUB FEEDS IVE HAD IN A LONG TIME! My partner and i both ordered steaks and they were cooked to PERFECTION i couldn’t believe it, hats off to the chef honestly.really good pricing for the portion size you get and couldn’t forget the amazing service from all the staff as well! 110% will be coming back in Jan for my mums birthday dinner.thankyou halfway hotel!?

Staff are always super friendly and accommodating. Great food and selection of beer and wine. Great local!

Good fresh food, excellent service. Kids indoor playgroubd, moved us closer when they seen we had kids (i didnt have to ask) and were flexible with their menu when we asked for a different topping on schnitel. Lady with pink hair was amazing service. Good place!

Had a great Snitty And I Love Judy she is a fantastic ️ Barmaid old school service with a smile.

Awesome food great for families even though the play equipment isn't huge is still something for the kids to do

For some reason the lunch special is not on Fridays and that's my only day off.

Great background music, songs we haven't heard for years (we are in our 60's)! Friendly service and really good meals.

Good pub food, roomy dining area, good broad menu, ample parking and welcoming, friendly staff! Haven't visited for a while but the hotel maintains its desirability and I enjoyed accepting an invitation to catch up with friends at the halfway ️
I've no hesitation recommending this great old hotel!

We couldnt take the kids outside to eat our dinner because there was a dog running around. Is this place kid & pet friendly?

Unfortunately we had a group of 21 for my birthday dinner here. Our meals were all cold, over cooked steaks, missing items even kids meals were wrong. I have an allergy so when my meal came out after waiting an eternity with food that wasn't listen on the menu on my plate I had to send it back. Who ever was cooking seemed to be making it up as they went along. Medium rare steaks coming out well done so clearly no chef on sight. Probably short staffed and it really showed. I would have preferred them to call me up and give me the option if I wanted to have my birthday dinner there or not. We waited 90 minutes for cold over cooked and horrible food. I'm so glad we had a discount card because if we had paid full price I would have asked for full refunds.

Food was great, tasty nothing bad on the food. Feels like ur normal pub ud go to as a kid with the family.
