Halfway Hotel

Food was delicious and hot, served quickly, no untimely delays. The staff were extremely attentive, helpful and friendly. The menu had a good variety of meals to choose from as well as a kids menu. Everything was very reasonably priced and I would be more than happy to return for a meal in the future.

Great service and great steak will be back again. Good size serve only one thing chips were cold.

Have been here twice now, friendly staff, great meals, nice large serves and we never wait more than 10 minutes at lunchtime.

Ordered a steak sandwich for lunch assuming I would get a bread sandwich but I got a burger, I know they will insist it was a sandwich but it wasn't. It was served on a plate covered with paper that turned to mush with the heat and the grease of the burger. Not impressed.

Wippet here putting my 2 cents in about the best pub on Port Ffn Road. Pop in for a frothy stay for 6. The bar manager Angus is a ripping bloke and always makes sure I get a few extra chippies.

The staff are friendly and its a very chilled place to have a drink and something to eat.not a bad menu.

We had a great night at the halfway Saturday night, Judge Judy bingo was so much fun, great atmosphere and dinner was lovely. Fantastic job to everyone involved and all for a good cause.

Excellent menu and very capable and friendly staff. They've retained a "local pub" atmosphere without comprising good service and quality meals. Recent charity function was a winner under the watchful eye of Judge Judy. Very well done.

Judge Judy was a fabulous time. Great food. Bar service was efficient and friendly. Highly recommend!

Lunch today with our group was very very good and we will be back with others as I know they will enjoy the food, hospitality coffee.

Friendly sports bar, especially bar person Sue, she's a great chic. Good mix of regular locals, promos, TAB & KENO & good deals on meals & beers too. Call in you'll enjoy yourself

Had dinner at the halfway on a Monday evening. I ordered from the seniors menu. So the meals for 4 of us was cheaper and quite ok in quality. Friendly staff, and good service was very good.

Lovely staff. But food was average. Steak was under cooked fly was bugging me all night and waitress spraying the tables with disinfectant.
Wine was good.

We went to dinner last night and the waitress was incredible. My dad is very fussy and she went above and beyond to cater for him. The food was delicious, definitely recommend.

Looked rather busy got told food would be half hour wait came out within 15 and tasted amazing. Will definatly be back.

It was my friends birthday so my treat. She ordered the half crayfish. It was supposed to be with salad and chips. I asked could it be with maybe boiled potatoes as she did not want chips. They said i would have to order baked potato as a side dish at an extra cost, ok. Then it came with chips and coleslaw. Ps where's the lettuce, cucumber, tomatoe? And mine was salt and pepper squid it was very ordinary.we had soda, lime and bitters. Very ordinary.
We are in no hurry to go back there for a meal again.

Quality food, nice and fresh, which is great given the fact ALH run it, generally food at pubs owned by ALH is rubbish.

Terrible service from staff. I do not recommend eating here if you have a plus card. They will attempt to report your card as being misused as an attempt to terminate it. Food was poor and attitudes poorer. Reporting your customers isn't a smart way to go about business and has costed you an entire family tree of business. They never asked nor said anything about the card, accepted it like normal only to unfairly report it. I've sorted it out but I shouldn't of had to.
