Gepetto's Hahndorf

On Sunday 20th March went for a lunch at Gepetto’s with extended family. It was a beautiful autumn day, we were greeted with great atmosphere and exceptional service from the Gepetto’s team. They had an incredibly vibrant but relaxed vibe with music on the background. The food was incredible, Seafood/pizzas/wine, Italian cuisine which you Definetely cannot find at Hahndorf.

What a fabulous Friday night we had. Food tasty, service amazing, live entertainment exceptional. A really fun and lively place.

Tasty food with pretty large serving sizes and gluten free options. This is a very friendly place as well, we really enjoyed our meal and hand made birthday cake.

Absolutely love the vibe here, one of Adelaide's best restaurants with amazing food and fantastic live music. Super friendly staff and excellent service. Would highly recommend to anyone - authentic, delicious and very welcoming owners.

Rang up to make a last minute booking, they managed to squeeze my partner and I in even though they were fully booked and blew us away with their delicious risotto and gnocchi! Can't wait to go back again

Food is fantastic, especially the risotto and the pizza, proper authentic italian that is cooked to perfection.

The place looks great, has a good atmosphere and has plenty of space.

The staff are also great, the servers are very friendly, chefs obviously do a great job and even the owners get in and amongst the place and make the customers feel welcome. The food also comes out quick, the staff are a very good team.

I recommend Gepetto's to anyone who feels like having dinner out on any given night or wants to visit hahndorf and fancies a meal, you will not regret it in the slightest!

We went there for my Birthday dinner and it was WOW! The place had live music, great vibe and we enjoyed it a lot. My daughter was dancing, we were dancing and some other guests danced as well. The owner gave us complimentary drinks and the food was very delicious, I had Gnocchi and it was very tasty, and my husband enjoyed the mussels. Staff was very friendly and great service, thank you so much guys. It just made my Birthday extra special.

Great staff, friendly owners, great pizza and pasta.fantastic atmosphere.they go over and above to ensure everyone is taken care of. 10/10.

The food was authentic, homestyle rustic, ample and delicious. Busy night but under stupid covid conditions service pretty good.

Second time we’ve eaten here and it’s fantastic. Great location, dog friendly out the front and authentic Italian fare. We will be back!

What a wonderful experience we had for lunch with family - the food, the atmosphere and service were all absolutely fabulous!

Cant say i was impressed. We turned up for a meal at 540 and was told we can only have a table til 7pm cause they need the table. 15 minutes after being seated we were asked to shift to another table cause they gave us the wrong table. Ordered 3 pizzas @$25+ each.the pizzas were ok but lacked any quantity of topping. The Hawaiian had 7 pieces of pineapple. I thought the service was very poor and pretentious. Would not recommend this place for families or value as it felt like they were trying to be to upmarket.

Well we finally got to go to Gepettos tonight after a few years of planning through no fault of our own, and WOW it was worth the wait. My wife and I have been to Italy 4x over the last 10yrs and have, experienced some of Italy's finest food restaurants, well tonight we were taken right back to Italy the flavors of the food were just magnificent, I swear I'm not brushing my teeth when I go to bed as I want to save those until morning, the service was friendly and aimed to please which they certainly did and the panacotta was exceptional, would we go back, in a heartbeat. Thank you to all for making our evening a very enjoyable one. Guy and Rosemarie.

First time dining here.great atmosphere with live music while we dined, good and fast service, authentic Italian food, the gnocchi literally melted in the mouth and was incredibly light and fluffy. It was refreshing to have a fresh mixed leaf salad served with my salt and pepper calamari instead of pre-cut bland dried vegetables, the batter was also incredibly light and pleasant to eat.

The gnocchi ragu had quite a bit of delicious ragu so asking for a few pieces of house made bread to soak up and eat all that delicious sauce was well received by staff and i was pleased to see that we weren't charged for it.

Looking forward to our next visit.

Very authentic food great wine list with impeccable service who needs to go to Italy when you can go up the freeway definitely be back.
