66 Truly 5 star food and service. Expensive but worth it. I highly recommend the lamb press dish. The waiter informed me that the dish has been on the menu for 16yrs and it's not surprising when you taste it.
Overall fantastic dining experience!
The ambience of the restaurant is warming and welcoming. Staff are attentive and friendly. The food is top class, the 5 course set menu plus paired wines was just divine. Highly recommend.
Went for a business dinner, which was an expensive degustation. Weird choice for this restaurant- it has a Cafe style vibe and seating felt crowded. A lot of food - for a degustation each course felt like a full serve, including a big bowl of pumpkin soup to start. Flavours OK, but overall a heavy menu for this style of menu. Service was very professional.
Excellent food and wine choices and helpful staff. But why do they automatically hand wine list to the male at the table? When asked why response was "that's what we do". It's 2018 and women are quite capable of selecting wine. For an upscale restaurant this is a major blunder and not a good start to a fine dining experience.
Enjoyed a return to Georges this week for lunch. The place just "oozes class". Thanks to the team at George's - a successful business deal over what was a delightful lunch.
Visited for breakfast networking meeting on the mezzanine. Great service, top breakfast & loved the coffee.
