66Great food, great hospitality, friendly and helpful staff, good wine. Faultless. Looking forward to visiting again soon.
Renown for great food and service well worth making time to chill and enjoy a beautiful meal in pleasant surroundings
Great dining experience, at a reasonable price. The wait staff were super accommodating and knowledgeable, still thinking about how good the rosemary ice cream was.
Amazing steak and great service.
The wine list is pretty good to. I highly recommend this place.
We visited from Brisbane for the weekend and had the 5 course tasting menu & the matched wines.
The food was delicious and the wines were too.
Plus the staff really knew their stuff as well.
Went for dinner and it exceeded all expectations. The food was great and the wine list very comprehensive.
Absolute gem of a place! My wife and I did the tasting menu and it was all class! My only regret was not adding the wine pairing. Food was incredible and our waitress, Tilly, made sure we were well looked after. I would definitely go again!
Lovely experience. Food excellent, staff experienced and professional. Don't miss the semifreddo, outstanding. Highly recommend
The most consistent High Quality Dining experience in Adelaide.
This is that Fabulous for Every Occasion restaurant.
The Food, Wine, Service and overall TEAM at Georges is #1 - First Class Every time.
From the service to the food, the experience is amazing. Every mouthful an enjoyable culinary delight. Can not recommend this place enough. Having the namesake there an added bonus that ensures quality is always maintained.
This was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. We arrived and were warmly greeted by one of the lovely staff. We were promptly seated and our waitress, Daniella came to introduce herself. Her friendliness was authentic and she went above and beyond to make our time spent in the restaurant the best it possibly could be. Daniella made this visit wonderful. The food was as spectacular as the service was. The food was paced really well and we didn’t feel rushed. The scallops entree was memorable, the lamb was delicious and the dessert was scrumptious.
We went for dinner after work and was greeted by very friendly staff. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was very relaxing.
Sensational food, wine and staff, no Adelaide dining experience is complete without a lunch or dinner at Georges. The staff are wonderful, with excellent service, and a great wine list. The food menu is also excellent, with seasonal treats such as Coffin Bay Oysters. Be sure to plan a nice night with someone special, or a group of friends, Georges is a great Adelaide dining institution
If you want a mouthwatering and memorable meal, this is the place. The owner is all over the place ensuring ever customer is attended to, felt welcome and enjoys the meal. The chefs, get that chef a medal.by GOD every meal (we had 3 course) was u forgettable
We had a mid-week lunch at George's to celebrate my graduation, and it was wonderful! The staff were very friendly and helpful in selecting a wine when we wanted to try something new, the food was marvellous, and the afternoon was incredibly enjoyable.
The food quality is going up, and up, the last three or four times there has not been a dish that did not compare with the quality of food we had at The French Laundry or The Fat Duck (and thank god no Heston gimmicks or $1000+ Per head food bill). Their floor service is exceptional, like polite Ninjas dressed in black and white, you hardly notice they are there. George should bottle his class, and real passion for this restaurant, as no one compares.
My Friend & I went in last Friday night to try their Crab Legs Buffet at the Triple Crown Buffet. The food were freshly prepared and constantly adding on those serving trays and constantly clean the surrounding areas. Those crab legs are freshly and not salty and juicy.
The service was amazing. The wine selection is fantastic. However, I don't recommend the sirloin.was chewy and unappetizing.
I'd highly recommend the food of this restaurant for a special occasion lunch. It is very delicious, especially the starters and mains. The interiors attract me more. I can't take off my eyes from the lightning and the interior designing. Fabulous Restaurant. Will highly recommend!
Vegan friends.do not even consider eating here. Meat swapped out for a courgette chopped in half. Zero consideration for flavour profile or presentation. Owner was defensive and unprepared for the constructive feedback that inevitably followed such a poor excuse for a meal.
