They couldn't even send the referral to the correct number or follow the correct procedure to make sure that referral was followed through correctly. Had to chase it all up for them.then the receptionist got moody because I had to keep calling back as I was doing her job for her.

NEW PARENTS BEWARE:

Have visited this centre twice within the last 3 weeks. Used to come here growing up before they moved and always had good experiences so thought now being back in the area and having a newborn child I would return to sign him up and do his 2 and 6 week development checks.

First visit was for my partner and after waiting 45mins past appointment time we were called in, after the appointment we were asked to wait in the waiting room again to have the nurse quickly assess her and that she would be out in 5-10 mins. After waiting almost an hour the GP seeing us still sitting there he failed to mention the nurse finished early and left two hours ago… so we went home frustrated but understanding the mistake.

Upon our second visit with Dr Simon for the first development check at two weeks we did arrive two minutes late (based off our last experience didn’t think it would be an issue). We waited about 5 mins and we were called in. Straight away without a hello we were told we have made him wait and he’s trying to get out early as this was his last appointment (2pm). We told him we were here for our two week check and then he again proceeded to scold us for not booking it in as a two week check with the receptionist (they didn’t mention anything when we told them at the desk and said we could just book online). Frustrated he proceeded to rush this check and clearly couldn’t care less about his results. Two days earlier at Flinders our newborn measured 51.5cm long, 3.6kg with a 35.5cm circumference head. Simon measures our son on an uneven surface and didn’t even line his head up to the top, weighed him and checked the weight with his hand on the scale still and tried to measure his head but gave up and just guessed. According to him in two days our son grew to 57.5cm long added 600g and his head had shrunk 7cm. Absolutely ridiculous and embarrassing the complete lack of care for a newborn child, still cannot believe it.

Rushed through all other checks and never checked his hips for any signs of hip dysplasia (we were told by flinders this is the major check at 2 and 6 weeks so if any issues occur you will be hearing from us).
He then proceeded to scold us again for not bringing in our blue book so he could write in the new measurements but we actually did have it in our nappy bag we just didn’t want his terribly inaccurate readings in it.

Pretty safe to say we will be filing a formal report of this doctor and will not be returning, was more concerned with going home than doing his actual job.
Will not be returning and again you will hear from us if hip issues do arise.

I see Dr Haq for Workcover and have found him to be easy to talk to and supportive. Usually can appointments within 24 hrs

It’s getting better. A couple of new staff makes the difference. I encountered one the other day Sophia? Very pleasant, thanks. Seems the rude ones have gone that everyone used to complain about

Dr Masud-Ul-Haq has been an amazing doctor looking after me and my family for past 5 years. Dr Masud-Ul-Haq is a very caring and humble person who always goes out of his way to ensure his patients get the best possible care and treatment. Highly recommendable doctor.

Had an appointment booked for 8: 30, didn’t get into see the doctor until almost 9, even though no one was there. Doctor was very rude. I won’t be back. Not worth my time, even if they do bulk bill.

Nastiest and *itchiest staff on the planet. Reported to HCSCC and the police for verbal abuse. Police report number 1522 8/5/23. Can’t wait to take the lot to the court.

Frankly I’m writing this as I’m sick of feeling like an inconvenience every time I make an appointment or see/speak to my doctor. This used to be a decent practice, I had patient care here through my 2nd pregnancy a few years ago which was positive. However it has gone downhill. Even on the rare occasion you can get an appointment, you more than likely won’t be taken seriously. The doctor I had seen for years, Dr Cristina used to be friendly and caring however in recent times has become extremely dismissive and inattentive with patient care. She can’t wait to get you out of there or off the phone. I don’t know what’s going on as she used to be so nice. Living locally I have heard this from multiple people too. The place seems to really just want to take your money and fob you off. You barely get 5 minutes of their time. The hysteria over covid is getting old, people need to be listened to and not just told they need to take a pcr at every single appointment and not taken seriously to when they have concerns about other illnesses. I really had to advocate for myself to get treated for tonsillitis and if I hadn’t spoken up I would of been in pain for a lot longer than I should of, at the time of my appointment I was at breaking point and I really shouldn’t have to push so hard to get the care I needed. Please take this criticism on board so there isn’t something that’s overlooked for someone else with dire consequences.

I have been a patient in this clinic for over 5 years. My favorites are Dr. Dlair, Dr. Adams and Dr. Pillai. They were very patient with me and always kind. I always felt satisfied and happier after the consultation. However, with Dr. Bolaton.she always rushes things which makes me feel so uncomfortable. Every time I see her, I stay in her room no more than 3 minutes. I have seen her more than 10 times previously, but I never felt welcomed, never felt like she actually cared.she always rushes rushes and rushes. I don't understand why she has to rush things all the time and make the patient feel so uncomfortable. I even forgot what to ask in the last consultation due to being rushed by Dr. Bolaton. I don't care how well educated she is, but she has no compassion

Used to be such a good practice. Definitely not anymore. I rang to get my 5 Month old in who is very sick. She offered me 7pm and then got his details and said oh he is new we can’t see him till the next day at 10.30am as that is “OUR” rule. I’m sorry but how rude. No compassion for anyone. Can’t even see a baby. Don’t waste your time with this place. This isn’t the first problem I have had with this place!

Then reply most doctors don’t see new patients on the same day. Sorry but you guys are the only practice with that rule. He is a 5month old baby he doesn’t not have that much of a medical history!

This place is terrible. Both the doctors I've seen here could not get you out of the appointment quick enough without taking anything you said into consideration. The front desk staff are the rudest I've ever dealt with. Will never go back.

The doctors at this clinic are always lovely - hence the two stars given. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for the reception team. Unsure if they’re simply understaffed or unwilling to help patients but they are often abrupt, unwilling to help out patients and when calling during the day to find out if the doctor is running on time you can be on hold for upwards of 30 minutes. I think my time has come to move to a different GP clinic.

Monday 19th December.
My wife had to go to the medical centre this morning & go to Clinpath to have a blood test.
My wife is unable to wear a mask due to health issues - only one lung & asthma. A doctor in this surgery had given her a medical exemption from wearing a mask. On previous visits she has been told by reception, book appointments on a Sunday, less patients visiting & you won’t have to wear a mask.
This morning on arriving at the clinic she was told you can’t have a blood test as you are not wearing a mask & was given a mask. My wife explained she has an exemption. Was told we don’t accept exemptions, which this practice doesn’t anyway.
My wife asked reception I need a blood test & this hasn’t been an issue before about not wearing a mask.
Reception said masks must be worn & I suggest that you go to another clinpath collection service to get your blood test.
This practice is absolutely useless & the practice manager which I have dealt with in the past is even more useless.
The reception staff need to be trained in how to deal with customers in a kind, compassionate manner instead of being dogmatic & rude.
My wife went to another clinpath collection service at another medical clinic & what a contrast. Very friendly & helpful. My wife said I can’t wear a mask & they said that is fine.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY WAKE UP TO YOURSELF. YOUR RECEPTION STAFF ARE THE RUDEST PEOPLE I HAVE HAD TO DEAL WITH. LIFT YOUR GAME. IN FACT WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF GOING ELSEWHERE.
THE SURGERY IS NOT MAINTAINED, LOOKING VERY TIRED & IS IN NEED OF AN UPGRADE & NEED TO GET DECENT RECEPTION STAFF.

AFTER READING ALL THE REVIEWS 95% ARE NEGATIVE. 5% POSITIVE REVIEWS I AM AMAZED THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS. OBVIOUSLY THEY DON’T TAKE THE REVIEWS SERIOUSLY OTHERWISE THEY WOULD FIX THEIR PROBLEMS.

HAVE A QUESTION FOR VICTORIA. IF MY WIFE CANT WHERE A MASK, HOW IS SHE SUPPOSE TO SEE A DOCTOR? PLEASE GIVE AN INTELLIGENT ANSWER.
I HAVE SPOKEN TO OTHER MEDICAL CENTRES AND THEY SAID THEY HAVE NEVER HEARD ANYTHING SO RIDICULOUS.

I’m suffering from heart failure and bone cancer and I use a taxi to visit my doctor here as I’m unable to drive.
Normally there is a chair outside the surgery for patients to sit on, I’ve waited on said chair before and have requested it before without incident.
Until one visit I met the receptionist Lyn who proceeded to tell me no I can’t have the chair to sit on as they no longer do it, from where I was standing I was looking at the chair in the spot where I usually see it if it hasn’t been placed outside already then I stated that I always wait on the chair outside
She responded in a really rude manner with they only do it on weekdays being a Saturday it wasn’t possible
I thought to myself straight away this receptionist is in the WRONG industry
She was blunt short mannered and came across obtuse.
I didn’t want my next appointment so I gave them the decency to let them know I am canceling
During the phone call I was deplored to hear a recording saying remember your well being is of the utmost importance to our staff.
Lyn you should retire or be fired.
Disgusting treatment & behaviour.

Told I couldn’t come in because I had a sore throat. Waited over 3 hours for a phone appointment to be told I had accidentally been forgotten about. Then was told they can’t prescribe me any medication as I need to be seen in person and said to see how I feel in a couple days! Are you joking me! What a waste of time.

If I could give 0 I would. To start with the reception staff are extremely rude! Doctor Cristina Bolatan wasn't much better. She was dismissive, disinterested, didn't explain what tests she was sending me for and why or the correct fasting information (obviously important) She in general has no patient manner. I had a normal appointment booked (10min window) and she was trying to shove me out the door after 5! I ended up having my results sent to another doctor as I wasn't wasting my time going back to such an awful clinic. I just wish I had seen all the bad reviews before I booked but I needed an appointment and they had availability. You are honestly better off waiting for an appointment somewhere decent with friendly staff and a doctor who seems to care. Its obvious now why they have availability.
