Federal Hotel Restaurant

We stayed for a week and it was clean, comfortable and very central for everything in the area, shops. No hesitation in recommending it.

Great value, great meal deals, great room, great service, would recommend to stay at the Federal Hotel for sure.

The Federal Hotel is a great place to stay. Room's are excellent and staff friendly and helpful. Fantastic exactly what I was expecting and wanted.

The rooms are okay for the price. But it is sooo loud. In our room we heard everyone from the other rooms, everything from the street and from the pub. It sounded like a party in the neighborroom but I guess the voices came from the pub. It was not easy falling asleep at this volume level. So for the next time I will choice another hotel.

Certainly not the Hilton but nor does it pretend to be. Clean, comfortable, convenient and fairly priced as advertised but why I give it 4 stars is that the staff are friendly and the choice of schnitzel! Comprehensive to say the least. No 5 star but. Lost at the pokies lol

Good for overnight stopover, clean facilities, tea coffee supplied, small fridge, heating/cooling unit in room, discount on food purchased in dining room.

Has been awhile since our last visit here Snitzels weren't too bad but disappointed that two advertised deserts where not available so had to take the third option, not really good enough for a business these days. Staff were excellent and helpful.

Food was great good size, but when the girl brought out out sweets she just left out dinner plates in front of us and not cleared them away.

Awesome service with a smile and can get a conversation with bar staff. 25% off meals if staying and free packaged breakfast. Very clean rooms and amenities.

Good location, clean room, comfy bed, Shower very hard to adjust the temperature, either cold or burning.

Rooms are big and clean. Got more than your money's worth. No buffet breakfast option though but a complementary take away breakky pack was given. You can hear people talking from the next room though. But since we're to tired we still got a good night sleep. We're still happy to experience our first Mt. Gambier accomodation in this hotel.

Best place in Mount for lunch time deals with the 2 for 1 on Price. Front Bar has Burgar and Beer deal for $7, come on dad you can feed a hole family of 4 for $28 and get 4 pints all to yourself.
