Discovery Parks - Streaky Bay Foreshore reviews
75Great for families. Windy and ground was very hard for us and many others when putting tent pegs.
As usual, our stay here has been very enjoyable, except the wind but not much can be done about that. One thing that needs some improvement is the cleaning of the ablutions. Hooks missing from showers & toilets, very dirty around the inside of the entry door but some supervision is all that's needed with that. Why some parks, in trying to reduce costs use toilet paper that's so thin people simply use more is beyond me, as is the common habit of reducing the cistern water levels which simply means people flush twice also causes more water to be used and costs more! Other than these small things, a good park in an excellent position with a kiosk that sells top quality fish & chips.
Large park, mixture of drive thru's and reverse parking, good amenities and are kept clean, staff are very courteous and reasonable price, three minutes from town, park right on the waters edge, highly recommend this park
Hand down one of the best parks I’ve stayed at between Esperance and Kangaroo Island and that’s saying something.
All the amenities were as described and worked well. I also found the staff were all lovely people and went above and beyond to help out with any questions I had. Keep up the great work legends
Large park on the bay. All facilities available. Helpful staff. You need you transport to go shopping as town is that close.
Such a beautiful view from our cabin, next time we will be staying alot longer. The park was definately great value
We loved it. We did get there with the intention to put up our tent! But we ended up in one of the chalet and found the experience fantastic. The facilities were great and well worth the stay.
This park is pretty cool right on the beach has great amenities including a pool family room also the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Stayed 5 nights and was very happy with the layout of the sites. Only negative is dogs barking every time some one walks past or another dog goes past.
What a great place to stay really enjoyed it there. Am definitely going back for another fishing trip can't wait. PS if you use the fish cleaning area watch out for the pallacans
Awesome place to stay staff are excellent prices are affordable and i love how the kids get involved in the park activities. Will be visiting again for sure.
You can't go wrong with a bayside van site. Staff are friendly, small cafe has good fish & chips. Large sites to fit van, seating area and car. We loved it, kids didn't want to leave. Amenities a little dirty and only a small bench in the shower to put dry things but otherwise excellent!
We camped here on a ‘beachfront powered site’. This site was fantastic; having the beautiful beach just footsteps away was phenomenal. The amenities were perfectly acceptable, the camp kitchens were well equipped with an oven, stove, microwave and sink and the unlimited free Wi-Fi was fast enough all through the park. All in all, our stay was very enjoyable, I would highly recommend this caravan park.
Staff very helpful and friendly, park sites level and good sized, most with dirt/gravel sites, amenities good and clean and modern, park right on beach front with good swimming, TV reception limited. Town a short drive away, with a variety of shops available. Could only stay overnight but will be coming back for a longer period.
We paid $32 per night for a powered caravan site for two people. The sites are a good size and but the access into them is narrow. Especially the ones along the seafront. There's a lot of trees for shade. The amenities are good and clean. It's in a good location on the beach.
