87 Beautiful food at D’Arenberg’s Verandah restaurant. Good service complemented a creative mix of menu offerings. I had the coconut/lemongrass broth and the “Signature” lobster/crab entrees, both delicious.
Winery visit was well worthwhile - the new cube certainly adds a special experience to the normal cellar door offering in McClaren Vale. Huge range of wines with a bias to the full bodied styles. Chester, the owner, is still involved in tours etc.
Do not rush this elegant experience. Modern but generous food, inc great choices for vegetarians, excellent service, quiet room and green views. Came for a special birthday lunch- made even more special by the smart, attentive staff, who really enhanced our celebration.
Six Stars would not be enough to tell how good the food and experience is. All courses where top notch. Lobster, beef and everything else!

We had so much fun here! I think they could improve a little on the gluten free menu. I’m not a huge fan of vegan food so some substitutions were a bit disappointing but overall they catered for Coeliac very well and at least everything had a substitution and I didn’t have to miss out!
We had the white sparkling wine and it was delicious too.
D'Arrys Verandah Restaurant. Spectacular. The food is sublime, the service is cheerful and prompt, the scenery is beautiful, the ambience is delightful. A 5 star experience we highly recommend. And the Cube is amazing.
D’Arrys - What an amazing treat! I popped in for a solo lunch today and was greeted warmly a seated despite the restaurant being exceptional busy. Wait staff were superb as was my three course lunch. Following lunch I ran into d’arry, the amazingly spry 90 year old owner who took time to chat about the winery.
Most awesome meal I've had for many years! The vegan degustation was the absolute bomb - sooooo good! Wifey says the non-vegan degustation was amazeballs too! Great, scenic location, friendly, knowledgable staff and the food is top notch. Can't wait to go again! Would *Highly Recommend*
