Simply amazing. Following a wine tasting in the Cube, we found we had not left enough time to enjoy the Salvador Dali exhibition. We had the degustation with paired wines. I love the “two wines” approach, the one on the left as a palate cleanser, the one on the right to enjoy with the dish. Lockie was a real gem and expertly steered us through the experience. Not one dish failed to impress. So much so we came back the next day for the a la carte lunch. We were leaving McLaren Vale that day but couldn’t go without one more chance to enjoy the Crab Ravioli with Lobster Medallion & Bisque Sauce. Not to mention the crusty bread with black-truffle infused butter and grated Parmesan. Do your taste buds a favour……. Go! Oh, and we arrived early and spent a most enjoyable hour catching up on Dali.

Had the degustation which was great, although make sure you allow at least 3 hours. Expensive, but I feel you got what you paid for. Staff were friendly and attentive. Not too busy when we went on a Monday which was nice. Tranquil setting made for an overall pleasant and enjoyable experience.

Food is outstanding. Had the degustation and must dos are lobster tail for extra $15 (cannot think of a better dish I've eaten anywhere) and wine pairings, which went perfectly with the dishes. Make sure you allow 5 hours to fit in wine tasting and Salvador Dali exhibition. Maybe do wine tasting first and then sober up a little at exhibition before moving to restaurant.

The lobster signature dish is an absolute must have. Also highly recommend the passionfruit soufflé and the dessert wine flight. Always wonderful service and eclectic art.

D'Arry's has always delivered 5 star meals, and desserts. The atmosphere and scenery are amazing and the staff are polite, knowledgeable and friendly. It is my husband's and my go to, when we go to McLaren Vale. Love it very much.

If you're visiting the famous Darenberg Cube then you must make this your lunch stop, delicious fine dining paired with their best wines with a prime view of their vineyard - need I say more?

Must try - the lobster bisque

Antique interior with funky artworks on the walls. Nice view of the greeneries. Gets really busy in the verandah. Went for 3 course meal. Housebread with home made butter and salted on the side, they were amazing. Delicious start. Tried the lobster medallion with lobster bisque, prawn ravioli. Top notch. Love it and wished it was endless. Scallops with crispy pancetta was not bad, with a refreshing taste. I think with so many things going on, couldn't really taste the scallop. Had beef fillet with stuffed beef cheek mac and cheese, that was interesting. It was a decent serving size. And the fillets were cooked well. Couldn't really tell the beef cheeks in the stuffed onion, but it tasted good with the sauces. Brocollini with lemon dressing paired well with these. Dessert churroz was like a soft mini donut glazed with cinnamon sugar. Poached pear was yummy. Ice cream was creamy. The whole dessert dish was super delicious. Also get a free entry into the Cube after dining here. Worth a tour.

It had been a long time in the making, but we finally made it.and are so glad we did.

From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed. The fire was on and the staff keen to ensure we had a warm experience on what was a cold winters day.

We chose the degustation menu and allowed chef to spoil us with the days dishes which included; his signature dish of Lobster Bisque, King Fish Cevicè, Barramundi, Lamb, Passionfruit Soufflè, Chocolate Pudding and other smaller offerings.
The flavours all of which were balanced perfectly and truly reflected Adelaides amazing local produce.

We can't thank Jo and the team enough for such a wonderful dining experience.

Best degustation I’ve ever had… and I’ve had a lot throughout Australia. The staff, geez the best I’ve ever come across, they put up with my two glass banter and were just absolutely accomodating and down to earth.
Husband and I can’t wait to brag to our interstate mates about how fantastic this restaurant was.

STUNNING! Lunch at Verandah lived up to the hype! The lobster bisque was a knockout and the passionfruit soufle was simply the best dessert I've ever eaten. It was so beautiful. The staff were delightful, warm and friendly. Was such a treat to dine here!

Absolutely amazing food! The Seasonal Degustation was a McLaren Vale highlight for us. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. They helped with wine suggestions and accommodated our children's requests. A great experience - I was so busy enjoying the food, I forgot to take pictures!

My friend and I attended D’Arrys Verandah for lunch to celebrate my birthday. After visiting The Cube a must for wine tasting and the views, we settled in for the degustation menu. Fantastic food with nice accompanying wines. The service was terrific. The setting is superb especially at this time of the year when everything is green. A very enjoyable and relaxing afternoon.

Exceptional dining experience. If I could give 6 stars to this place I would. The staff were super attentive and accommodating. We couldn’t get a booking on a Saturday but left a message and miraculously they called us because there was a cancellation.
We were a party of two and first were sat inside and then an outside table overlooking the vineyards and hills became available and we were graciously relocated there. Oliver who served us was incredibly knowledgeable about the wines and the menu. He was super friendly and really made our experience extra enjoyable.
Each of the meals from the summer signature degustation menu were perfectly executed and the flavours had an Asian influence but were uniquely delivered. The wines esp the Witch Berry Chardonnay were great. Would recommend this place for lunch in McClarenvale hands down!

The “Cube” was astounding. Really worth a look. The Verandah restaurant was excellent. I have several allergies. The staff ensured that I had food that was safe, plentiful and delicious. Many restaurants just remove items that contain allergens, but the verandah staff made substitutions that were suited to the dish. I can’t recommend them enough.
