We had a brilliant experience at our degustation lunch yesterday. It was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had. Our waiter was excellent! He was incredibly knowledgeable, funny and really made our time enjoyable and relaxing. Nothing was rushed, everything was thoroughly explained, it was perfect! The food was astounding! I think we devoured a loaf of that delicious bread and truffle butter! Do yourself a favour and get the lobster! And the passionfruit souffle - the most incredible dessert I've ever had (my fiance said the same for his chocolate dessert option). Everyone was friendly, professional and brilliant. Thank you for fitting us in. It was a highlight of our holiday and we highly, highly recommend! We even joked about flying to adelaide for a day simply to do it again!

My wife and I chose the degustation for lunch mid-week. It was DELIGHTFUL. Each of the 9 courses were prepared in an imaginative way, beautifully presented, and tasted wonderful.

We also went to the Salvador Dali exhibition at the D'arenburg Cube.not to be missed. A great day out!

Excellent! We very much enjoyed the Signature Degustation Spring 2020. The food, well, just amazing, as well as the service. Thank you Danielle (Danni) and Oliver, plus the chef! Their knowledge of the wines and culinary delights adds to a wonderful experience. A great restaurant to celebrate an anniversary or any occasion/excuse.
Hint: go during the week, no rush of the weekend crowd.

Excellent food and service. We booked for a weekend lunch to try the degustation menu. Waiters were attentive and welcoming. With the free entry into the cube (and the special exhibit) and complimentary wine tasting, this was a beautiful day out and well worth it.

Beautiful food. Good service. Great wine. Has lost some of its appeal because you can't taste wine in the restaurant anymore, which I loved doing in the past. Would have been 5stars but I didn't like the cube at all, it was so hectic and difficult to navigate. I got lost twice. It made me stressed after my beautiful lunch. Just stick with the restaurant.

We really enjoyed our experience here. We ate a mix of the regular degustation and vegan degustation, and got the wine pairings. Each person at the table spoke highly of the food and wine. We got complimentary bread which was refilled whenever it got low, which contributed to us leaving full and happy. It was a bit too much food for me to comfortably eat desert, so you will not leave dissatisfied. The flavour of the food was great, and everyone at the table liked the lobster in particular. The vegan food was outstanding. The people who served us were knowledgeable and kind. We have recommended this restaurant to our family and friends, and hope to return for the spring menu soon. When you book the degustation you also get free entry to the cube, which was okay.

The food is amazing, salubrious! Using local produce and cooking talents of excellent culinary chefs. Any discerning foodie will be very satisfied here, wanting to come back for more. Service is excellent, unpretenscious, leaving you comfortable to socialise with your guests and be wined and dined seamlessly.

Lobster and gyoza bisque was amazing.accompanied with great views over the vineyards.the chefs are artisans with a culinary expertise thats rare.very reasonable price for two. 8 courses will only set you back just over $200.00.

We went to Darry's Veranda for my husband's birthday today. We sat outside and looked over a gorgeous view of gums and vineyards which lead towards rolling hills. The service was excellent - the waitresses were an eclectic mix of ages and nationalities and so warm, yet not intrusive at all. We were relaxed in their company, which was such a lovely change from either staff who hover and deliver wordy, prescribed essays about the food and wine or staff who literally act as if they are secret agents, cool and austere. The degustation was OUTSTANDING! To begin the crumbed olives stuffed with almond and covered in a delicious fresh herb aioli was moorish and the bread an open holed textured baguette with a firm crust, with porcini Parmesan butter. The three courses to follow were equally stunning - the beetroot crepe with lox and horseradish cream delicious and light, the signature lobster medallion with prawn and crab ravioli was genuinely one of the nicest things I have ever eaten! The sauce was so delicate, yet flavoursome and the plump ravioli full of seafood and gorgeous herbs. The lobster medallion on the side just added a luscious chunk of meat with every bite of the ravioli and coated perfectly in the silky sauce. The chicken was melt in your mouth and the asparagus and mushroom aspects of the dish complimented every bite in terms of texture and flavour. The cheese was shaved and dribbled with honey and pear - stunning as well. For dessert, we both chose the passionfruit soufflé with passionfruit curd and the sweet and tart elements were perfectly balanced. The wines were also stunning, we chose to drink by the glass as my husband was driving - but we were able to share a sad blanc, rose, bubbles and pinot. This meal was genuinely gorgeous and we plan to visit again soon. The choice of a veg or vegan degustation is also exceptionally helpful for those who prefer this.

Really enjoyed this experience.
Degustation was amazing! Wine pairing was well worthwhile, the service was 5 star. Our waiter explained all of the stories behind each wine and knew the dishes perfectly. Very attentive. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute. And it went for a few hours! Well and truly full and satisfied, my partner overindulged in the bread and truffle butter that kept appearing if you finished it!

Beautiful grounds. Food was very well presented and tasty. Our server was excellent and very knowledgeable about the wine pairings. Book ahead as this eatery is very popular. This is a great alternative to the Cube which is very pricey at $220 without wine.

Enjoyed a lovely lunch with family. The staff were exceptional. Dishes beautifully presented and larger than we anticipated. Our young waitress was very knowledgeable about pairing the wines with the dishes. Table service exceptional, food 5 star.

Had the vegetarian degustation. Chef and team delivered a command performance. The food was perfectly balanced all the way through, but still showed signs of a kitchen that knew it could - and should - push the envelope.

And the heirloom carrots were mythically good.

Vegetarians: go here and enjoy yourselves.

Excellent food service ambience. The lobster entre was to die for followed by duck and finished with a lemon souffle. Accompanied with excellent wine When there must visit the cube.

Love this place. My wife and I had a lovely meal together here out on the veranda and our daughter got engaged here earlier this year 2018! Great views also, amongst the vines.
