If you’re looking for a fine dining experience this place ticks a lot of boxes. The variety and quality of ‘Spanish inspired’ dishes was very good. Of the dozen or so dishes we order the standouts were the chicken paella, croqueted and grilled broccoli. The ‘larger plates’ were disappointingly under seasoned and underwhelming.
The service was good but what was disappointing was the overall hospitality considering the high meal prices. It was a very hot and still day, yet they chose to open up all the doors in the restaurant for “ventilation” (presumably so it could be considered an outdoor area for covid). When I pay good money to eat out I don’t want to be sweating the whole time. Upon entry they presumptuously brought over a bottle of pricey chilled bottled water but could only offer “warm” table/tap water. All things considered I think it would have been more appropriate to offer complimentary cold water.

This is a great restaurant, great staff and an amazing environment.
All the staff look relaxed and like they are enjoying their jobs.
There is a great variety of dinning options, from garden to deck to restaurant.
The food is exquisite and the tapas is great for anyone that has had a gastric sleeve.

This place is amazing! If your ever in the area well worth the stop! Staff are amazing an well mannered.
They also let us have our dog sit with us in the beautiful outdoor garden area.

The sides are better than the main dish. Had a salty calamari and chewy steak. The chicken schnitzel didn't taste good either. It tasted like it had an after taste.

Food was nice very strong flavours, service was yet to be desired waited half hour for drinks whilst others were seated and served around us.and only maybe 15 ppl in there for lunch in total! Very disappointing especially when I pre booked and advised it was a birthday lunch. Wouldn't recommend

Ate here recently. The service was good, unobtrusive but attentive. The decor was nice, but as a group we found it hard to hold a conversation, as the dining area was so noisy.
We opted to have the Fiesta manu, at $45 per head. Here is where things went downhill. The food was tasty enough, but by no means spectacular, and definitely not worth the price.
The paella was ok, but the other items were pretty basic, and minimal portions.
The wine list is fairly good, we had some nice Spanish white, but the per glass prices start at $12, for a very minimal pour. Overall, very disappointing, highly over priced for what you get. Won't be back.

This place is very inviting and has lovely decor. We were disappointed with the food though, with the paella rice being so crunchy we almost broke our teeth and the expensive carafe of white sangria basically just wine and orange juice. The Potatoes Bravas were exactly like the ones we had in Spain, S was the flavour of the paella.

Cominda Hahndorf is at 100 Main Rd next to the Old Mill. This modern restruant caters for couples and large groups. Indoor and outdoor dining available. The carpark and garden is behind. U pass a well in the driveway. Brad is the manager

Food and atmosphere was good
Staff were OK, one seemed to be having a bad day and was a bit blunt/dissmisive but other than that the coffee was excellent and it's so nice to see milk LAB becoming more available in cafes
I do wish there were more variety for breakfast options on the kids menu as not every kid eats eggs

One of my favourite places. Great coffee, wonderful service, fantastic food!
This morning I had the sourdough crumpets, and my friend Liz had the yellowtail fritters.
Both were exceptional. The menu is constantly evolving and changing, which keeps it interesting. The garden is outstandingly gorgeous.

Had a fabulous lunch. Everything was cooked to perfection and the service was great. Loved the scallops, broccoli and the creme brulee was amazing! The garden was lovely and we sat outside and enjoyed the ambience! Can’t wait to go back.

I have called and booked my daughter’s birthday for 02nd of January in Comida in mid December. Apparently they have decided later on in December that they want to close the restaurant on that day.so I went there on the 02nd if Jan and it looked like that the restaurant was closed. There was a tall guy with beard working in the kitchen. I asked him about our table and he told oh sorry we are closed now and we will be open tonight. I told him I have had a booking and he told me my boss has called everyone and told them about this and I said no one called me. He told me sorry I don’t work in booking and I don’t know anything else and he had this face that I don’t really care. I came out and I was shocked as my guests were coming so my mom told me to asked them if we can still have a table as we did not receive any calls or voice mails or anything. So I went back inside and I did so. There were three guys in the kitchen now. The same rude got back to me and no it is not possible and I told you we are closed. And then I said how come nobody called me about this. He said we have a nice boss and he wanted us to spend more time with our families. I said I have worked 31st of December, 02 of Jan is not a special day to be with the family. Suddenly he snapped and yelled at I told you we can’t just go.
I was shocked how come a rude lazy person with zero people skill and motivation can work in hospitality while others losing their job in COVID situation. Anyway we ended up in German inn which was open and their hard worker, friendly staff helped us have had a good time. Bottom line myself, our family and friends will not come back to this Comida!

We chose Comida for our Valentines dinner last night as we have previously dined at this amazing restaurant and it's become one of our favourite local eats. The Flamenco show was absolutely incredible! The food and sangria were authentic, delicious, filling and not leaving us wanting at all. The atmosphere was vibrant and festive. We absolutely loved our evening and will keep coming back! Thank you Comida for an amazing experience.

Great food, lovely courtyard (more of a backyard, it’s huge) and great interiors. Friendly service too.
