Coles Greenacres

While other countries around the world are listening to their customers are changing back to actual people at the checkouts, Coles at Greenacres appears determined to continue to replace people with machines. Not one people checkout available tonight

Plenty of stock variety always topped up
Nice wide and well lit aisles making it easy to find what you're looking for.
Choice of checkouts, as in having a choice of a manned or self checkout.

Lately the prices of many products have increased dramatically and sometimes the size of the products has been reduced. Pay more and receive less for BIG corporate profits.

Yea no more cashiers at that store, last week they still had 2 or 3 left now it's just self checkouts. They even got rid of the cashier at the 12 items or less checkout line. No more Coles for me, there's a new Drake's supermarket close by and a woolies as well.

Just a quick shop. They had everything I needed.
Another quick shop - the first place I have been able to get cherries recently.

Staff are ready and willing to help in any way possible.

This is the expensive tomatoes this store sent me one black others dented and to soft old tomatoes this is the respect they have for customers we pay their wages without us they would not have a job, thee would be no coles.

The worst customer service. The staff are unhelpful and always leave you feeling inadequate. Horrible experiences every time. Coles is walking distance from me, but I prefer to drive the extra time to Woolies.

Not the best service here, limited staff for assistance, not well stocked during the day. Promoting self service check outs and limited.

It is a nice supermarket, there fruit and vegetable where a little bad with the lettuce bags but i have noticed they never last as long as other stuff

Prices have gone up, but Coles still have a good selection of half price goods. If you change to items the cheapest you will save. Good luck find the bargainsJim

7pm on a Thursday night and no chicken cooked or being cooked. So many empty shelves, pallets in the Isles so hard to get trolley through. 1 person on checkout and 6 people lined up for service. If you are not going to have staff on checkout drop your prices.

This Coles has a little it more than he usual Coles but doesn't have the extra luxuries some supermarkets have, like sushi and cheese rooms. They do have a nice cheese fridge though.
It has recently gone through a refit bringing it up to the more modern Coles look. Now includes fridges that have ready made meals but thankfully unlike other Coles, still has a deli section. Because it is a larger store, there is more selection in the deli section, like fish. Also has a larger bakery so can get everything in 1 shop unlike Ingle Farm where have to visit both Coles to get everything.
It is located in Greenacres shopping centre with plenty of parking available.

Grabbed some items and went through the express 12 items or less isle. An older lady named Sue was serving at the checkout, she was extremely rude to all 3 people getting served. Each customer tried being extra nice and making jokes to ease the awkwardness but Sue just ignored them and shook her head angrily. You really shouldn't have people like that serving on the front line, it was a terrible and embarrassing look. 0 out of 5

Checkout Service at this store has seriously deteriorated. With over 1/2 hour waiting to checkout queue, last experience very poor - (not uncommon) very large bank of Self-service checkouts completely empty. Only three normal serviced checkouts open on Thursday afternoon, long queues at all three. We were still told to use Self-service which all refused.why else would about 15 - 20 customers stand in queue.many seniors (not only seniors, but other ages too). Wake up Coles, serve your long standing customers.had to request open another checkout - no one attended the long queues until it became obvious Coles needed to act.
On one previous occasion was told by manager if "customer" did not like Coles set-up, go and shop at Woolies - how about that Coles.real good customer relations.
Trouble is, Greenacres is closest store for us at our age.
Did make a complaint as that was over the top, Coles advised Area Manager would contact me for details - never heard another word.so much for Coles Customer Complaint Section - not worth a butt.

The store is nice but I was disappointed with the self checkout. My terminal had a wobbly and wouldn't let me continue until a store member assisted. Do you think I could find anyone to assist? After waiting for 3 or 4 minutes and not seeing anyone, I left.

I like going there from time to time because the range of products they have is a bit different to Woolworth.

It has nearly all the things I need to buy each fortnight and some things that I would eat if they were at Woolworths so I go to Coles.

To-go place for all your daily needs. Now sporting a new layout, open and neatly laid out. Two new send check outs but I prefer the regular self check out bays. And yes a few more smiling faces at the check outs.

I was shopping at Coles Greenacres on the weekend when I noticed that an employee on the registers, I think his name was James Lowe was yelling at an old lady that asked for his help with taking her groceries to her car. He was telling her that she doesn't deserve the help and he then threw a milk carton at her which caused her to fall over and fracture her hip. I think this is unacceptable and some action needs to take place.
