Botanic Gardens Restaurant reviews
79We went here for our anniversary dinner. It was expensive but totally worth every cent. We didn't feel rushed and the food came out at a steady pace. The paired wines were really good.
This was a nice and peaceful place to walk around. We had lunch on good Friday and they catered for everyone
Food was little for $90pp. When paying, we were asked "How much do you want to tip us, 5 or 10%" was weird. Since when do you have to tip when dining in Australia?
What a lovely location for a romantic dinner. I would recommend booking a little earlier so the gardens can be enjoyed in the twilight.
Expensive dinner but great service and local garden grown produce is used in the dishes.
Very fresh current menu. It started off good and finished off excellent. The fig dessert is our favourite. We had the tasting menu. Excellent staff and beautiful setting. Excellent for a nice afternoon. Beautiful food. Good job guys.
Food and setting very very good. Wine prices have taken a big hike up. For that reason we won't be going back for a while
We had a fantastic wedding reception here in 2017 and have since been back. The food is always fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. The chef has been most accommodating to us and waiting staff all friendly and attentive. Cant understand why this place wasn't packed out on the Friday we went there. Food was sublime and for once the service was of a standard commensurate with the food. Will definitely be going back.
Really beautiful place with extraordinary food but the only problem with this place is the price. For small portions you will need too pay an amount which is not worth it.
The 7 course tasting menu was absolutely amazing, cannot rave about the food enough. It's a must have experience, especially with the wine flight. Staff were fantastic & very professional, 5 star service next to none. The only bad thing I can say is that the venue itself had an unpleasant stale, musty smell when we first walked in. Needs some open windows.
Meh. Oysters that didn't taste fresh, odd flavour combinations that didn't work. Just not worth $220 for a couple (with wine) -for lunch! Nice setting, though.
My girlfriends and I went there for lunch. It's very relaxing. Prices comparable with cafes in general. Food and coffe taste good. Then you can relax and enjoy the amazingness of our gardens or have your own picnic.
Our experience at the Botanic Gardens Restaurant was great! The food was amazing and the presentation absolutely gorgeous it was nearly a pity we had to eat it. Will definitely will be going back.
We went there for an beautiful engagement party.lovely environment. Helpful and friendly staff. Fanatic food.
We enjoyed a 4 course dinner there last night. Every single meal was fresh, absolutely delicious and so beautiful on the plate. The waiters were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Inside there is a calming ambience and what a stunning view outside onto the gardens. Would highly recommend Botanic Gardens Restaurant and we will definitely be back!
Bit on the higher side of price for icecreams, but standard for adelaide pricing. Decent sized meals that are well presented.
1) Very little food on the plates (I came to eat, not graze)
2) $90 per head! For a hand-full of food
3) Staff too efficient.cleared the table whilst one of our party was still eating!
4) What has happened to the tablecloths? Table tops mismatched, making the place look dull and NOISY (Tablecloths substantially reduces the noise level)
Experienced my first degastation extravaganza today - the food was amazing and staff friendly, knowledgable and attentive
Rubbish restaurant. They don't allow prams and wheelchairs! We have a 3 month old baby and was rejected. Bunch of garbage.
