Fantastic high tea at the Barossa Chateaux. The staff are beautiful-special mention Bianca-truly gorgeous soul. The photos speak for themselves and they cater for gluten free

We had the high tea offered through the Great State Experiences for $55 each. All I can say is I'm glad we didn't pay for it out of our own pocket. The savouries were cold, and the fillings tasted like supermarket dip. Nothing was home made, some of the sweet foods were still frozen and resembled supermarket cakes cut into tiny pieces. The scone was average. The tea was a tea bag, and the coffee didn't arrive. Save your money and go to Maggie Beers for genuine value and flavour and an authentic Barossa experience.

Interesting art collection but the 45 minute mandatory lecture before you are even allowed to see it was pretty dry and uninspiring however, quite fitting to the place - a once great estate in decline.

We had an awesome high tea here following their tour. The staff were excellent and the shop has lots of lovely things. I highly recommend the whole experience. Don't hesitate though as their unique antique collection might soon be sold and there's none like it.

Lovely High Tea, a lot of food for the price ($49) and very tasty. Continuous tea and coffee and really lovely friendly staff, well worth the drive

The wedding was great but it's a bit of a buzz kill when management aren't so friendly towards guests and staff.

Great experience, learning the history of the family and their porcelain collection, with beautiful Rose gardens, topped off by a delightful high tea, will be going again

The exquisite High Tea and amazing experience got to know lot about the history and The Queen had the high tea here as well

They are doing some great job at treasuring items which has historical values.

Took mum up there for high tea. The food was delicious but the service was fairly poor. A lot of waiting even though the tables around us were being seen to. They just seemed to keep forgetting about us.
Mum enjoyed the gluten free option

A very rare and amazing private collection of artifacts and antiques. Friendly staff and excellent high tea experience.

Nothing wrong with this place. All the staff were lovely. Ham cheese and tomato toastie was fine. Scones were light, with plenty of very fruity apricot jam and fresh cream. Coffee not strong enough.
The environment lacked authenticity, was not particularly “Barossa”.
Extensive gardens were pretty despite being wintery. Would be worth a spring/summer visit for the gardens. Did not do the $10 guided tour because of timing. Sad the collection is inaccessible without the tour.

Very overrated. Went for a 60th for so called tour, scones and platter. We all thought that the place was going to be a mansion but it was a run down place built in the early 2000. The tour was a look next door at some antiques in the next room for about five minutes. The platter and high tea was nothing like in the pictures and the so called free gift worth 35 dollars each was such rubbish noone took it. The gardens were not kept nicely and there were no roses and they all had black spot. Couldn't get out fast enough. Absolute rubbish

Devonshire tea were so fresh and delicious. Unfortunately the building has no character and the rear garden need a bit of TLC. Lack of care.

Do not do the high tea.two menus listed on website.we did not receive either in their entirety and what we received was not pleasant.waited an hour for tea which was a no flavor tea bag in a pot.
Very ordinary.no wonder they ask you to pay beforehand.
