Bakery on O'Connell

Got the Pie Floater from here a way back, no complaints, pie quality was surprisingly good and it makes a big difference

Amazing place with a large variety of bakery goodies. Fairly priced with the option for dine in or takeaway. The place itself has a nice cosy feel and good atmosphere. Always vibrant.

We went there for the first time. No complaints. It was crowded and that's a great sign. I had the Chicken Satay Pie. Great taste, great service. What more can you ask for?

Nice desert place. Lots of options, easy to take away or dine in. Nice service. Believing that as they open 24hrs, that give night-timers like us a place to stay and chat. Nothing to complain about.

I tried their pie of the month 'beef brisket mac and cheese'
The meat was very tough and chewy, it definitely needed to be slow cooked for alot more time to make the meat tender.
May need to slow down and not rush the cook.
But it did have a nice flavour.

This place is somewhere I have been going for years. The service is always excellent and the food is so good. They make amazing coffee and juices here too. They have larger cakes and savouries if you are hosting a few people, and also a nice range of drinks. The pie of the month ia always worth a try.and of course they have South Australia's famous pie floaters

Excellent service from the cheery gentleman serving on Monday morning at 6am, great coffee too.

The most overhyped bakery! They have the worst coffee, don't think it's even barista and the cafe was dirty. Even worse.they now medically discriminate against those who do not want an UNTESTED COVID VACCINE! Goodbye to this business, they support segregation! YUCK

Thank you for clearly stating on your door that you forced all your staff to put something into their bodies or be fired. Wow -shame on you!

I actually said 'oh my god' when I bit into the lemon meringue cronut. It was absolutely divine. Some cronuts are dry and crunchy, this had the right amount of flaky crust and juicy insides. We will definitely be back.

Was really looking forward to going based on the reviews however, while the staff were friendly and the prices were reasonable the food was average. Not sure what all the fuss is about. Did not try the savoury stuff, perhaps that is better than the sweet stuff.

The food is great when it's fresh, and most of the staff are friendly. However, the grey haired older manager can be grumpy and aggressive

This bakery has recently been fined by the health department for breaking the law and allowing smokers to smoke in their undercover food service area.

A brilliant place for a bite. Something uniquely Australian about a bakery. A 24 hour bakery that is always there for you when you need it. Staff are beautiful and the food and selection is outstanding.

I needed some platters for a funeral at last minute due to another business not coming through. I called Bakery on O’Connell at 5.30pm on the Tuesday and collected the platters Wednesday morning. They were well presented, delicious, and reasonably priced.
I am not sure who I spoke to on the phone but she was extremely helpful and I just wanted to say a massive thank you. Her attitude and willingness to assist helped bring us joy on such a sad day!

People actually eat this food I am in shock. Standards in Australia are extraordinarily low here. Something very wrong with culture to give almost 5 stars I am amazed. I assume most of the people who eat here are either too drunk or high to taste or notice what is going on ingredients or food preparation I woodlnt even feed to my dog and yet people shovel this "food" down all day everyday in Australia all over the land I feel sorry

Good variety of food and drinks. You can order to take away or they have seating inside and outside. Good value for money and the staff are friendly.
