The degustation menu was terrific! Delicious wine pairings and a very satisfying experience all round.

Lovely lunch and nice atmosphere - very great table service - bit over priced and I think vegetables should be part of meal - not charged separately ($12) per serve - menu needs expansion - not a lot of variety to choose from - staff treated us very nicely!

Quaint little Restaurant located in Tanunda in the Barossa Valley. We had lunch here whilst on a wine tour. Food was fantastic and the staff are very accommodating. It’s a very cozy venue with good wine.good food and good people. The service was exceptional.

Beautiful cottage setting with friendly welcoming staff. Warm fireplace on a cold wininters day was perfection! Great selection of wines and cocktails. Ox tail with polenta, salmon on truffle mash with crispy green beans were delicious. Great start to a holiday!

This place was a great surprise. Located in an old house on the main street of Tununda. High ceilings, friendly waitstaff and great food.

We had the pork belly and the eye fillet steak. Both really nice. Generous portions. Try the beans as a side! You won't regret it.

Honestly, It was a disappointing experience for us all.
First of all, the atmosphere was in a very dark and squeeze lay out. The drawing stuff was kindly provided however the brightness is not good enough and it will damage kids’ eye sight.
Food wise, all our steak were cooked inconsistently. Medium steak were cooked as med well and medium rare steak were cooked as med.
Also, the steak value felt a bit overpriced.
Risotto is also cooked out of the standard as some of them tasted squishy and some of them tasted hard to chew. It’s like mixing 2 batches of over cooked rice with undercooked rice together. The flavour of risotto is great, enough truffle taste and mushroom is fried crispy.
One of my friend ordered soup of the day which is served with 2 pieces toasted bread. The bread came out completely burnt and unacceptable. When we requested to change the bread, the serving staff said this is how the bread meant to be cooked. After we stayed strong saying please change the bread for us, the staff just gave us 2 pieces cold bread.
The whole experience is a bit disappointing but still pleasant for us.

The food was delicious and Amber was very helpful when I had a touch of fomo and wanted to try it all.
Only a small 'by the glass' wine list, more extensive if you are looking for a bottle.
Would definitely return.

Was at 1918 to celebrate friend's big day. First class service at a stunning location with great food and wine. I'll be back and if you are in the Barbarossa, drop by. It is worth it?

Had a lovely anniversary dinner here on Easter Monday. The rose petal heart on our table was a cute touch to a very pleasant evening. Steak was cooked to perfection and good selection of mocktails for those who don’t drink.

Absolutely incredible dinner tonight!
We were welcomed firstly by a very friendly staff who looked after us the whole night (Brodie) and before we even sat down congratulated us for our 2 year anniversary and a birthday celebration too which was an amazing welcome!

Brodie served us and was super kind to us the entire evening and we both walked out and said "Wow he was amazing". He was super kind, suggested a great pair of wines to pair with our dinner, was prompt with providing our utensils, drinks, etc.and overall our pre-eating service was incredible.

To top it off the food was incredible, the crispy pork belly was the best pork belly I have ever eaten out at a restauraunt, my partner who does not eat pork belly often due to inconsistencies with chefs/restauraunts said that she wished she orderded it instead of her already incredible eye fillet.

Thanks so much to the chefs for a great celebration/anniversary dinner service whilst we are visiting from Adelaide for the week, and especially thanks to Brodie for amazing customer service, he definitely deserves a massive commendment from the team, and hope he keeps providing great service in the future as his passion for the customer service role he is in reflects so kindly and made our night and our leaving after eating memorable!

Thanks heaps 11/10!

Really delicious food, large serves. We had a garlic bread and olives before our mains which were so yummy, but no room left for desert! Will have to come back for dessert.
Great service, quick, attentive and knowledgeable staff.
Beautiful old building thoughtful converted to open yet intimate space.
Top restaurant, highly recommended.

The best part of our dining experience was the service. We had not one, but three friendly staff who attended us throughout our meal, making sure we always had everything we needed - we felt very spoilt ️ The winemaker’s board was delicious and it was lovely to be eating locally produced food. Our scotch fillet steaks were very nice and I recommend ordering a couple of sides to complement the meal. We shared the fresh and flavourful Eton mess for dessert accompanied by Irish coffee which did not disappoint.
