ZONE BOWLING Richlands

Despite the 3 star rating, this place is perfectly adequate for a place to go bowling. The lanes are full sized and well maintained.
The only negatives are that the decor is quite ordinary and the arcade game sounds were annoying when on the lanes down that end. More on the decor, it has a sense of retro but misses the mark for an authentic vibe and instead just looks dated.
With all that said, I can imagine it would be hard to make a business like this profitable as well as presented to the high standard that is expected today.

Absolutely shocking service! Waited a whole game for chips and one and half games just for 3 milkshakes. Lined up to see where they were and staff were too busy mucking around and chatting. Finally got them and my partner didn't even get flavour in his! Absolute joke and was not impressed after paying so much for 7 people

Great atmosphere and a great time spent oit bowling for the family. Food was delicious and something for everyone.

Arcade games have now been re branded to take timezone cards which is handy, food is the usual bowling alley food but definitely not bad and the alcoholic drinks were reasonably priced.

Great customer service and nice renovations. The arcade was way to expensive and games where too short.

Outdated bowling centre.the staff are some of the most rudest people I have come across in my life! All but the one lady behind the counter where you pay and get shoes.
We will not be back and we do not recommend this place.

Very good place to go and have some fun with kids.nice staff and good options to eat.as it's just 3 min walk from my house it's so convenient.they have a lot a parking spaces too.just one thing I would like to say plz zone bowling bring back the wages use to have them they were so good.plz plz

Brought the kids here for a day out. Staff were very friendly.

Unfortunately, there is a strong money-grabbing culture within this organisation. As part of a promotional 'deal' you're given vouchers to spend at the cafe, but don't expect to get any change from those vouchers without having to cause a scene. Luckily the manager went above and beyond. She understood my point of view and gave me the difference in cash.

The food is below-standard hot box stuff. Overpriced, tiny portions - nothing healthy at all. The kids meal cheeseburger was less than 2.5 inches in diameter and the nachos were almost inedible.

Despite the friendliness and the support of the staff, there was a lot of information that was withheld about the deal we purchased. Part of the deal was a card with credits for arcade games. We weren't told that it only applies to certain games and not others.

We also weren't told about expiry dates of vouchers and games. It's a shame that Zone feel the need to take money from customers by dressing up 'deals' for vouchers and credits that have restrictions and expiry dates.

Overall review: A fun place for kids but expensive, frustrating and disappointing for the parent/carer. I can't recommend this place. There are better, less-expensive ways to spend a couple of hours bonding with your children.

My kids had fun, price wasn't so bad, costs about the same as going to movies for 1 game, so not bad- the movie would have lasted longer though. But all in all kids had fun trying bowling for the first time and staff were friendly. I would definantely come back.

5 star customer service from the staff. They were very accommodating, friendly and efficient - Even when very busy. Great place to take the family.

Fun to go bowling, very expensive prices though. Food is very average especially for the jacked up prices.

The kids had a great time, it was just very expensive for 2 children 2 adults and 2 games each. $ 100.00 for 2 hours of play.

Staff were amazing. Went above and beyond for us. Highly recommend a party here. First time bowling for my kids and they can't stop raving about the place. We'll definitely be back. My son won the jackpot.

It was a great day out for my nieces birthday. The prices are a little expensive for a family day out though. It's not something you would do too often because of that. The place itself was great though.

Wonderful experience here. First time during school holidays. Staff were fantastic, friendly, helpful and efficient. Real teamwork which was delightful to see. Bowling lanes had immediate on site maintenance in case of any issues and only one arcade game was out of order. Will definitely return. Highly recommend!

Food is terrible. Ordered the veg nachos and it came out with the melted plastic yellow cheese.yuck! Thought we were ordering yummy looking shakes and just got a ordinary 1 in a paper cup. But bowling was fun and they have good lanes.

It's very expensive especially considering how outdated the place is. However the staff were helpful and friendly, they had lots of bowling balls to choose from, and a good atmosphere. The bathroom was old and gross. I assume the food is of excellent quality judging by the prices lol we would come here more frequently if it was cheaper. I hadn't been here for a few years as we drive to Toowoomba for $8 bowling (wear your own shoes) just because I don't like being ripped off. We get a day out too and its still cheaper than this place with the expense of petrol ;)
