Called about it a specific pen I wanted to buy online. They said they didn't know if they had the nib size I wanted. Then immediately changed the price of the pen to $300 more than it was listed online. They then called and told me that they had listed the price incorrectly, and could get the nib size I wanted.

Declined and bought it from LarryPost, a business with integrity.

Exceptional customer service. I was looking for a specific fountain pen ink but was having no luck at all. On the recommendation of a pen store Melbourne, I called The Pen Shoppe. Even for an inter-state enquiry, they really went the extra mile. They didn't have the product for sale in stock and the next order from Italy could take months - and yet they found a way to get me the exact ink I was after quickly and all the way to Melbourne in a few days. Fantastic!

You can get pens anywhere there are a lot of stores so what matters is customer service. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced they are only nice if you’re giving money. CAUTION THEY WILL NEVER REFUND YOU FOR ANY ITEM. Go somewhere with better policies.

Lovers of stationary beware, this is a heinous cavern of the most beloved treasures. Once you enter you shan't ever leave with a cent in your purse.

What informed, charming and patient provedores. The shop has an enchanted feel about it, as I imagine Ollivander's Wand Shop in Diagon Alley would be, if finding the perfect wand for words.

My favourite shop! The best pen shop ever! My best experience and my highest quality pens are coming from them! Barbara, the owner, is a legend! It's my dream to spend time in that shop. Been there for a large number of years and love it as my best go to shop. I missed them even when I lived in Europe and I didn't have the chance to physically visit them.

I cannot begin to tell you how stunningly beautiful this shop is. The staff who served me were caring, kind, attentive and passionate about giving me the very best service and what’s more knew exactly what I needed, and how to meet m need. Not only was the owner present, she gave me some stellar advice about penmanship, demonstrated her stunningly beautiful writing hand and she was delightful and generous with her kindness. I have left the store filled with joy. Gratias, Gratias Gratias.

I had no idea what I wanted or needed as a beginner calligrapher. Did I want a fountain pen… or Dip pen and variety of nibs… I really had no idea and needed support to sift through my thoughts. A really lovely young man, whose name I didn’t catch, was so patient and supportive… he gave me a range of pens and nibs to try… talked about the differences… showed us many options which allowed me to test and discover just where I wanted to increase my skills.and which products I needed! What fun! I love this shop and all the staff were amazing… especially the wonderful young man who served and supported me. I remember walking past this store many times over the past 35 odd years and I found today that the same family owned it that entire time! Shopping in this lovely store was a real treat and I will definitely be returning regularly.

Pen Shop is not just for pens but many other items for gifts of for yourself. They sell high end good quality products: pens, writing pads journals hats, walking stick umbrellas, trinket boxes and many many more.

I’ve been purchasing fountain pens from this shop since 2011 and it’s just sad to see the quality of customer service is now at the lowest level I’ve ever seen. As we all know that fountain pens have small issues like too much or too less ink flow or skipping those sort of thing and I used to bring to back and they can just fix it easily within 30 mins. Very Happy back that time. Now recently I made another purchase and it skips while writing. So I brought it back. But this time, the sales assistant named Barbara started to be arrogant and unprofessional, even refer me as a difficult customer to my face. If she wants any customer just walks in and put down the money, pick the product and be gone, then yes I am a difficult one. I believe I should deserve more respect just considering I am a regular repeat customer who’s spend over 5k there throughout the years. Won’t be back to that shop anymore. Would rather buy online than back to that arrogant shop.

Anthony was so helpful and knowledgeable. I was inspired by his enthusiasm and purchased a Waterman Expert. A wonderful pen. I will return to add to my collection.

I went there yesterday Barbara was such great help! I got what I needed and more. Their prices are great compared to other stores. I enjoyed chatting to Barbara I’ll be back, I eyed off a few other things I wanted! ️

I was served with the worst customer services in my life by an elderly European lady.

I really felt that I was not welcomed in the store due to the lack of knowledge about pens.

I went to the store searching for a specific pen that I wish to try before the purchase. (Which I did ended up buying it in the store) This elderly European lady just don’t have any patience answering my genuine questions relating to the ink cartridge types and differences on the pen types.

It’s a unique store with niche product, but if you are after excellent customer service or guidance please reconsider before visiting the store or speak to a different sales person.

I was bought a pen for my birthday which I was happy about. The ink needed replacing so I took it in. It's was problem after problem from there on. I was accused of dropping the pen and that was why the pen would come apart so easily. I told them this had happened from the day I got it but they would not believe me for reasons unknown.
I took it back again to be fixed, a second time. Again I was told I must have dropped it. I fail to understand why they would not take my word that the pen was always in the draw and would come out as needed. I would know if I dropped it and I would not lie about it if I had. Any way. Then pen went missing in action in their hands and I was asked to call the repair person to get a return date. So I did although I thought it should have been their responsibility to know where a customer's pens are. Maybe I'm wrong there not sure. They then told me my pen never went there. So I called back the pen shoppe to tell them. Eventually they located my pen. I was charged a second time for something that was not fixed the first time. I paid it because that's what I was told to do.
I might have to look elsewhere for pens.
They have a good selection but after they sell you a pen there is no more customer service.

Thank you for all your help choosing a nice Father's Day gift for my partner's Grandfather that was within our budget and that he will truly treasure. The staff were patient and happy to explain everything and then wrapped the gift with nice paper and a bow. Much appreciated!

One of my favourite shops. I’ve bought 3 pens from them now and have always experienced great service. They have so many unique and quality things for sale. There is no other store in Brisbane like it that I know of.

Had some issues obtaining specialised parts for my Pen, the staff were not only helpful but also extremely knowledgeable and were able to help me identify what was required and posted that afternoon. Thank you very much for all your assistance it was greatly appreciated.
