Highly recommend going to the Big Rig off your in Roma, there are 2 options or a package and under $40 for both. The night experience was well worth it and the self guided day tour is a must. Please go up in the lift for the lift experience 3 sided tv panels for an authentic riggers experience. If you are fit take the 208 stairs up to the top platform as well. I went up n down in lift then walked up n down the stairs both very rewarding. Don’t forget to check out the museum and watch the film there as well. The film that is part of the night show is produced extremely well in combination with a great narration and 3 d set that has special effects of lighting, fire and gas along with the scene of tents etc. Thoroughly enjoyed the night show and you will learn a lot about Romas early history with water, oil and gas drilling.

Excellent experience, fantastic staff who are very friendly and knowledgeable.
The night show is excellent.
While in Roma, visit the Interpretive display at the cattle sales yards. Tuesday morning is a good time when the cattle auction is running.the biggest sale yard in Australia.it is a wonderful experience to view.

Learnt a lot of the history of oil & gas exploration in the Roma region. Presented in an interesting way. The light & sound show was very well done.

Fun place, lots of interesting information on oil and how it is found. I would not recommend using the elevator to the top of the tower, it has screens as walls and loud sound effects.

Loved it. Great to walk up and down the stairs of the lookout tower, but make sure you catch the lift as well - there is a great video in the lift. I went up and down 3 times. Very informative history of Roma. A lot of audio displays. This park is not huge and will take less than 1 hour to see it all.

Excellent self guided tour. Climb the tower and bridge walk. 140 steps or take the lift. Very interesting.

The Big Rig is a veritable Pokémon GO Paradise. It has Plenty of Pokestops and Gyms as well as a plethora of Pokémon just begging to be caught by discerning, dedicated and/or hardcore Pokémon GO Trainers.

Great visit lots of info of the history of Gas and oil in Roma. Take a ride on the lift up the tower which is really a high light. The hole place was very well laid out and all close

Didn't realise Australia got into onshore oil exploration this much. Great place to visit and would recommend the night show.

Obviously it's a bit of an advertisement for the oil industry, but all and all there's enough stuff here for it to be interesting.

Stopped here to have a look after having spent the night here in town. Interesting spot to have a look at. Have a brief look around the structure. There was a cafe on sight which I didn't buy nothing from and the visitors centre was still closed. But a worthwhile stop to have a look at.

I stopped and had a look at it when going through at night, it looked amazing lit up. In the morning I went back to see it outside and the slab hut museum there and both are worth stopping for plus the gardens. The Big Rig is part of the information centre and they have parking for just about all size vehicles.

Clean shop area and cafe. Toilets on site. Interesting history of gas, oil and water mining in Roma. Our guide was well versed in the history and drilling process. Liked the heritage machinery on site.

We decided to walk to the top of the rig - good exercise after hours in the car but I am glad we chose the lift down - it is fabulous! We all went back up and down again and it is recommended to all. The ladies at reception were so friendly and helped out with finding a few of the 'missing riggers'. Then morning tea in the lovely cafe. Thank you for a lovely visit with so much to see.
