This Officeworks is about 2 minutes away from our house, however is pretty difficult to be served by the team. I asked two sales people for help (after a few minutes walking around the store looking for anyone working) and they both said in a minute, which is fine, however they forgot about us and never made much of an effort to apologise for this, which is a bit frustrating. The item we required was up high and as my partner was tall, they requested him to climb on the stool to take down the item (I think this may be an occupational safety issue). We additionally walked past a few people who looked at us in the eye and then looked away without any acknowledgement, smile or greeting. I would love to see more emphasis on the staff addressing customers and asking if any assistance is required to make the experience a lot more enjoyable. Improvement on customer service is definitely recommended. We would love to keep shopping here for how convenient the location is. I hope that the management team make steps in 2021 to work on this area for improvement. Thank you in advance:) (The date of visit was Sunday 27th of Jan)

Officeworks needs to be more transparent, having placed an online order in QLD, I rang 4 days later to inquire how much longer. I was advised then that the order was being printed in North Rocks (Sydney). Seriously? While I accept they may be printing off site, I didn't expect another state. The shipping alone adds massive delays to getting to me and had they been TRANSPARENT on the website and advised this, I would never have ordered it. When I commented to the girl that this was extremely frustrating I got the normal 'don't take it out on me' routine. Customers ARE allowed to voice concerns, no raised voice, no abusive language. When I pointed out that I certainly was not blaming her, the response was to hang up in my ear. Appalling customer service and sneaky practices. Officeworks has now become a no go zone for my business.

Terrible management, they will refuse any price match guarantee even if you show them prove. They will say call head office if you have a problem so they don't have to honor the policy.

Great store, helpful staff. Can get a bit busy at peak times 4-5pm but they have plenty of staff on to manage

This store is so lucky to even get 3 stars and the only reason I am even doing a review in the first place was because out of 3 different times I went into store about a book list that was put in 2 weeks ago and had a middle eastern or Indian man served me who put my booklist through on the online system failed somehow in the process which left me with no booklist 2 days before school started and nothing could be done, (I have used and trusted office works in Geelong Victoria for 3 years in a row and had not one slight issue) but not this time.

Initially put the list in 2 weeks ago to be told it would be ready 3 days later and would have a text, I heard nothing so I waited until 7 days later and went in there to be told it’s been placed as you got the email it will be here in the next two days, the girl advised me to ring up next day Being Saturday or Sunday to see if it is there, I rung on the hour every hour the next day no answer (couldn’t make it in), the next day tried calling and no answer yet again, so I had to organise on my Australia Day to go in there and was told by one girl yeah it could come tomorrow before the only staff member TAMARA! Who seems to know what they are actually going in store said to me, it won’t come today or tomorrow so you probably won’t get it till Tuesday (the day school starts) she took the initiative to go out back to see if she could locate and couldn’t and apologised for the delay, then saw how distressed I became I am pregnant and have a 9 month old baby as well as a over excited 8 year old to get her stationary prepped for Tuesday & took time out of her busy day not something she had to do and helped be find al the items I required. So I hope the boss or owner of this store sees this post and actually gives Tamara apt of praise because she was going out of her way left right and centre to actually help and assist all of the people who had been screwed over and was excellent multi tasking and super organised and very well knowledgeable in her role. Maybe you should consider putting her up in a higher role because she has care for the customers and in her role! Thank you so much Tamara you actually made my day so much better and there should be the staff there learning from yourself and if the Other staff were as good as you who worked there I highly believe this store would have a higher overall rating then 3!

If I could give minus stars I would, the customer service in this store is horrible, it seems that the staff are not only very unhelpful and mean but also try to make every straight forward job, difficult for the customers.
I have had the worst experience ever with them.
I bought a faulty laptop and although the manufacturer authorised for replacing a new one, they refused irresponsibly and carelessly. They are experts to make you unhappy and dissatisfied. I get stressed out even when I remember my experience there.

Office Works is my go to office supplies place after work is finished as most other suppliers are closed after 5pm, I can get most things that I need here, staff are helpful in finding things that I need.

Called the Southport Store several times to check availability of a product and was told abruptly by a lady that the item was not in stock. I called Nerang store 2 times and they both times told me that definitely in Southport they had some in stock. I called for the third time Southport and finally a guy answered not the hideous previous which lady. He finally spent few seconds looking at store availability and fund out they had 4 still in stock of this pretty expensive item so he put one aside for me. Why female population Australia born seems so hungry with the World is my question of the century and the question of all my world wide friends living here in Australia.

Very very rude, unhelpful and unfriendly staff. The costumer support there is absolutely awful, and I don't think I'll ever be going there again. Do not reccomend to go to this store. It's a total waste of time. I was extremely disappointed and unsatisfied when I stepped out of the store.

I went into Office Works today and a lovely young lady named Kerry served me. Kerry went totally out of her way to help me. Im not computer/phone smart but Kerry fixed everything for me Thank you for making my visit so easy.

They did what I asked but not nice customer service at the print counter. Also as a general suggestion for all officeworks, allow card payment on self-service and it would be 100% better

Had a terrible experience here today. I came in and the staff member tried to hide but I called her out. She then told me a canvas would take 4 days because they were so busy. She then walked around trying to look busy deflecting would be customers to the wrong sections and letting other staff members pick up the slack. I called nerang officeworks and they were more than happy to take my business. As I left I saw two staff members smoking in the carpark if your so busy you don't all take breaks at the same time. It's sad to think officeworks who have all but monopolized the industry are so complacent. We don't need your business but you need ours. Giants will crumble and new better compitiors will take your place. If you hate your job go work at centerlink.
