Officeworks Southport

It would be great if your staff would answer the phone, I rang twice and both times, the phone rang for 5-7 minutes. Really poor customer service. Would not recommend buying anything from this store with the lack of service.

I just wanted to say a big thank you to Vicki with printing some photos and going out of her way to help me with what I needed done.
It has made my life a lot easier and even though they were very busy she took the time to listen to my needs and completed the job in a timely manner.
She is an asset to the company!

Over the phone service is woeful. Took me a few phone calls to get through. Transferred back and forth between different departments as staff didn’t know how to check the status of my click and collect after providing the order number several times.

Definitely need to improve your phone service. It’s a shame as Officeworks is generally a one stop shop for me but has been too hard to deal with as of late.

In store experience is generally pleasant for me- floor staff always helpful and friendly.

Three weeks ago, I got my documents online and went to Office Work to make copies. I arrived 30 minutes before the late hour employees leave work, but an Australian employee named Mollyn was so kind to me that I was able to make a single important copy. She'll probably be Molly or Molly her name. Thank you very much. Office Work would like to give such a person a promotion or bonus. This person was working like her face on office work. Thank you sincerely.

I’m not one to leave negative reviews but never in my life has an employee made me cry before.left in tears after an incredibly rude staff member (elder, red hair) slamming her hand on the table to grab my attention and yelling at me in front of everyone when she couldn’t hear me or understand what i needed.i’m only 17 and was alone and had no idea what i was doing, the least i wanted was some help in printing.extremely hurt and embarrassed.

Signs that is MANDATORY to wear a mask at this shop before entering. You enter and head to the print area to find the print staff point of contact NOT wearing any face mask. Why bother enforcing others to do what your own staff wont do?
Most people are trying to do the right thing but your own staff are exempt from your rules.
Do better Officeworks

I have just come back from Officeworks in Southport. It’s a very busy store and today was unusually busier than usual. I stood in queue when I was assisted by a lovely lady, her name was Vicki. I asked or assistance in copying 11 pages from a book that I am using in therapy. Although this was an unusual request, as they need to ensure that copyright restrictions aren’t breached. She quickly saw I was a little distressed and I explained I was just discharged from hospital. She quickly guided me to take a seat, and she took the book and promptly copied all the pages I needed. She was such a caring, yet professional woman, who, although she was busy herself, took the time to help me.
Office works, you need more people like this lady and so do a lot her businesses who provide services to the general public. Thank you Vicki. You are one special lady.

I ordered an office desk online on 21st August. The tracking order still says "Preparing your Order". As I am moving house in just over a week, I was getting worried whether I was going to receive my order before I moved house. I have sent two emails, tried ringing but put on hold indefinitely. I looked up Officeworks Nerang and for Click & Collect it said Estimated collection on Friday, September 03,2021 and Limited Stock in store. So I went over to buy one (hoping that I can get a refund for the one I ordered online eventually) and Nerang didn't have one in store and suggested I ring Southport or West Burleigh. I tried ringing Southport but like Nerang office, no-one answered the phone. I certainly won't be doing business with them again.

Guess I'll add to the flood of 1 star reviews for the customer service at the printing booth. Eventually thought of asking the lady if she wanted me to behave like a KAREN to get her to do her job! They "Lost" my online job, made me call headoffice to sort it out, only to have head office put me on hold. So that they could call the store. She tells head office. "I'm too busy to help! " proceeds to help the 8 people after me. Shocking!

Very friendly and helpful staff, specifically A handsome young man named Tren was more than happy to help me out when I approached him. Would shop here again:)

I am surprised by the negative reviews. I have been here maybe 5 times now, usually to do printing and stock up on stationary. I have had to seek assistance a few times when printing, and have always been helped by a friendly and helpful member of staff. Maybe I have just been lucky.

Worst customer service - staff member was very aggressive when I asked for printing assistance. Do not recommend this business.

Such helpful staff! A nice skinny redhead man helped me with my inquires about ballpoint pens. Found exactly what I needed. Would highly recommend Officeworks Southport for pens. 5 stars

Discusting customer service. They NEVER answer their phone when you call to see for product availability at the SOUTHPORT store.extremely frustrating.why have a phone number if you dont want to answer your phone!

Staff NEVER answer the phone - staff become angry and irritated in store if you ask for assistance. Please don't work in customer service if you don't like dealing with customers.

Does management go out of its way to find such unwelcoming, unenthusiastic and unprofessional ladies for the register? With such dead personalities, dead facial expressions and dead customer service skills no wonder it feels like you are at a morgue whenever buying something here

Was ignored by staff and disgusting containers with mold in them lying on ground. Really disgusting

Unfriendly, not helpful at all, my mom went there to have some copies done for the first time and needed some help, the so called “Service desk lady” was rude to her and just said.lady read the instructions there!

Staffs at the printing section were never friendly. Wanted to make menu book, straight away was asked what I want instead of offering me options.it's like telling me quickly get your things done and go.this wasn't the first time though of this unfriendly experience by the department. Other floor staffs are always willing to help and smiling but not this department.
