It is a store that sells stationery. It is the closest branch to my house and has branches in Southport and Robina. It sells a variety of writing utensils and computer-related consumables such as laptops. There is parking space for about 20 cars at the entrance of the store, so you can use it while purchasing items. You can park for free, and if you have trouble finding what you need, just ask the staff and they will help you very kindly. Above all, there is a wide variety of products and the prices are reasonably cheap, making it great for shopping.

I had a great experience this (Saturday) morning. After the dramas of the Square faults yesterday we then also needed new hardware. Ordered click and collect at 7am and received a message at 745 (before store was open) to say it would be ready to collect when the store opened. Sure enough it was, I got out of the store at 8.02 and we only missed half an hour of eftpos sales. Service was great and so seamless. Nice job guys, I don’t often do reviews

The chap that served me had an excellent knowledge of the product I'd read about. He obligingly took me straight to it and explained how to use it. I'm taking my battery bank overseas Friday and I really appreciated his helpfulness.

Not impressed. Went in to get a price match as advertised and two staff members spent 10 minutes trying everything they could to try and get out of it. If you advertise price match, honour it. Don't embarrass the customer to save a few dollars. Terrible customer service.

I usually love this officeworks they are always super helpful! However tonight I believe it was the manager her name was Amber, was super unhelpful and said that she couldn’t do my printing for me as she didn’t have the stock however I could see the sheet and paper I wanted in the labeled area behind her. Super disappointed, the younger girls are always super helpful however this older manager was very rude and unhelpful.

While the Customer service is predominantly always good at Officeworks Nerang, the service I received yesterday from a young lady by the name of Chirathi, was exceptional. I am not particularly technology savvy and was trying to print some photos for the first time. Chirathi was so helpful, did not make me feel incompetent and guided me through the process with the utmost niceness and professionalism. Thank you Chirathi)

DO NOT BUY TECH FROM OFFICEWORKS. I unfortunately had a horrible experience dealing with their manager Amber. After buying a Macbook Pro 10 months ago, it suddenly stopped working for no reason. I took it to Apple for analysis and they identified a major problem with the device under a manufacturing defect. I was told I could get a free repair, or under consumer laws take it to the retailer I purchased it from for a instant refund or replacement. As it was a business laptop and I would suffer financially from not having it for a week, I opted for the instant replacement with officeworks. Before I left they provided me the documentation identifying the manufacturing defect, the case number associated with it and a copy of my rights under the consumer laws. Upon going to officeworks, I was arrogantly told by Amber that they would not honour the consumer laws until the laptop has been sent in to Apple for analysis, despite me providing the evidence from Apple that it was already assessed to be a manufacturing fault. She told me there was no way for her to prove it was a major problem, despite Apple providing evidence and the laptop not being able to turn on, and that I needed to instead get a return authorization (RA) from Apple before she could proceed. I contacted Apple and they informed me that I just needed to provide officeworks with the case number, as the RA is something officeworks can organise through that, Apple also informed me that under consumer laws, Amber can not legally refuse my request. Upon returning to officeworks the manager again had a horrible attitude towards me and refused to accept the case number Apple had provided as an RA, again telling me that she would refuse to provide any replacement or refund. Moving forward, I decided to speak to Officeworks phone support in the hope of resolving the issue and I explained to her what Apple had told me and the dilemma I had with Amber. She asked if Amber tried to enter the number I was provided from Apple as the RA and I informed her that she straight out refused to even enter it in the system. I was advised to go back and get her to try and put the case number in as the RA, which I was hesitant to do because of how poorly I had been treated twice. Instead, I decided to call Apple and spoke to an adviser, who offered to speak to the store on my behalf. She too was turned away and refused to accept the case number which identifies the issue with the device, requesting that Apple send her an RA instead. Apple referred me to their senior adviser who offered to speak to the store again to explain to Amber that it was her responsibility to email the case number to an officeworks' approved technician, (rather than sending in the device) who would in turn provide the RA. I explained how awful the store had treated me and the Senior Adviser offered to get me the replacement through Apple, even though under the consumer laws, the manufacturer is not obliged to do so and it rests on the retailer/place of purchase. I am so thankful that Apple was able to pick up the slack I encountered with Officeworks. Never have I experienced such disregard and incompetence from a retailer to basic consumer laws and rights. I definitely do not recommend anyone (especially businesses) to purchase technology from officeworks as they are not trained or competent enough to sort it out for you if there is an issue.

My wife misplaced her wallet in-store, Jamie “the manager” made it clear that instead of helping us by checking the cameras, we would need to place a police report, and go through all that bureaucratic nonsense. Her attitude that she shouldn’t have to go out of her way to help, stank of someone who has spent a life in a meaningless middle management position and has soured at the thought of being a decent human-being between the hours of 8am to 6pm.

Made an already stressful situation, a hundred times worse.

If I could zero star, I would.

I entered the Nerang officeworks with expectations of utter disappointment, alas I came across Alex. Alex delivered exceptional service, exceptional results under the most dubious of circumstances. His happy go nature was a breath of fresh air in an organisation that has had such since the year 1901. His knowledge of toner set the tone and his service above and beyond. He will do well in life. The store refuses to price match a product (their product 3yr warranty) with an identical item from a competitor at 5yrs warranty (LONGER). Same SKU with shorter warranty period at officeworks. There is no mention of this in your website in T&Cs. As an account holder and a Wesfarmers shareholder I am DISGUSTED at my treatment instore tonight.
