Officeworks Garden City

Most horrific experience I have EVER had shopping for office supplies. Was served by a young girl called Chanel whose arrogance and attitude was absolutely through the roof. I asked a simple question about Cordless Phones and NBN compatibility and I got told "It's on the box". Why thank you Chanel! It's reassuring to know you are actually interested in serving your customers more than you were interested in scrolling your social media pages. Its hard to believe Officeworks is actually employing staff of this calibre. I can honestly say, I will NEVER shop at this Officeworks store again willingly nor will I recommend this store (thank god my business account is linked to another store) and if by some chance I have no choice, if I ever see this girl again I WILL walk out!

Officeworks in Garden City is what you need them to be. Fast and efficient. We're regularly dropping by for prints, copying and stationary supplies. The staff always know where to find what we're looking for and we are in and out nice and quick.

Always nice to deal with them. Very busy store but staff try their best to look after all of them. People should remember Officeworks staffs have only 2 hands and feet. They do their best. Pls consider that before making 1 star rating.

I recently went here to get some documents laminated. I stood at the printing desk in front of two female staff members who were chatting socially for at least 5 minutes before one of them acknowledged my existence. Then their laminator was out of order so they couldn’t do it regardless. Very poor service considering I was made to wait for no reason only to be turned away.

I would love to review this store if only I could find it! I have tried and tried to find by exiting the Garden City shopping centre, but have given up in despair. Does anyone at Officeworks even care? I think not from the reviews I have read. Maura

Rude executive at printing and scanning counter.

Felt discriminated.

Felt a complete mess, lots of staff wondering around, but only one at printer service. Felt pity on the lady handling alone, but it’s shame that such a big group can’t manage the customers well.

Waited for at least 5 mins at the printing counter and nobody seemed to come help me out.finally a guy called David showed up but his attitude was really bad like i had an intercourse with his sister and made him suck my ding-dong. The cashier ladies were really nice however, so 4-star for the ladies and 1-star for David.

The office works staff at Garden City didn't help me print my passport size photos. The kodak computer there is not user friendly and it takes ages mucking with the computer prompts until you realise that 30 minutes have been wasted with no outcome. So many people complain of self serve photo counters not working for passport photos, yet nothing done about it. Poor service and no improvement. Instead was offered to go to Ted's photos because no one was free to help me.

Rude, surly staff. The last two times we have tried to buy anything from this store they've had it displayed on shelves but not actually in stock. The only thing this place is good for is getting a price match at JB Hi-Fi

Completely understaffed and the few staff that were working were completely incompetent. Oh and they got me to sign up to 'zip pay' and when I got to the counter it didn't work. Good job bunch of monkeys. No, that's not a race comment, that is a comment on your complete lack of intelligence.

Garden city carpark is impossible to find. I phoned and the kid who answered couldnt help me as he didnt drive.

This review refers to printing photos at office works. If u are printing more than 100 photos and need assistance as the machine won't let u print more than 100 at a time. Good luck too u. Run! I've only ever had bad experiences with their customer service when printing photos. I knew i should of went to Kmart as their machines and system are so much easier to use. I've definitely learnt my lesson. Everything else in the store is fine.

Terrible service. We went for a photo but they forgot to charge the flash. It was a waste of our time and we went from a long distance.

Ordered a desk that was in stock in they’re warehouse and was going to be at store in one business day currently fourth business day since it was supposed to be in and was told on the phone it’s still pending at they’re warehouse not bloody happy being lied to

Worst service, having to wait half hour for someone to serve customers. What a joke. Will never shop here again. Yuck to Officeworks Mount Gravatt.

My go to place for printing and buying stationery.convenient location because they're in the same complex with garden city.plenty of parking.you're lucky if there is a saussage sizzle outside for snacking.they also have a co-working space inside if you think you want to have a meeting and requires printer facilities.

So happy with my experience here.
I went in to have some invites printed. I was able to email them straight from my phone, have them printed instantly on quality card. Also, while waiting inline to pay, I was attended to by an employee who scanned all my items on a phone and gave me a receipt to take to an unmanned EFTPOS machine where could just pay by card as usual. I found it to be very easy and efficient service.

The new location is incredibly inconvenient. Very annoying if you just want to grab a few things quickly.

I walked into the garden city store at upper mt gravatt yesterday to buy a laptop. I was welcomed as I walked in which was nice, but I was ignored for the rest of my visit. I was clearly in need of some help as I was standing in the laptop aisle and looking for a staff member. I even approached some staff who were talking nearby but I overheard that they were talking about something personal so I waited in front of them. When they finished their conversation they both immediately walked away from me and ignored me. I was in store for probably 20 minutes and walked out in a bad mood. I went back today hoping that there would be different staff on and they would help me. But no, I got the exact same service. I was welcomed by 2 staff members and they both said goodbye as I left which is the only positive thing I have to say. With 3 staff members at the front I thought surely I would be approached but whenever I made eye contact and tried to ask something they all avoided me. I thought it was pretty rude. I ended up heading over to JB Hifi and bought a laptop, a printer, a CD drive and a tablet case. You just lost a $1,600 sale. I won't be back
