Officeworks Garden City

Absolutely terrible customer service. Went through 3 staff members wasting 30mins of my time just to be told that item is out of stock with the first staff member saying there was stock.

I literally had the worst experience of life here- Ms. Allina knew how late I was already- still refused to print my documents out and transferred it to the class other colleague. She was highly rude and racist. I honestly haven’t had an encounter like this before- will never ever come back here!
They should train their staff member better- guess this will be a learning curve for them.

Been standing in que for nearly 25 minutes, tried to copy some documents but unfortunately no signal instore and free WiFi is rubbish so never again.

Am i the only one couldnt find the way to officeworks parking? Did round still couldnt find a way to reach there. Very poor signing

I tried calling 4 x times - was put on hold with band music playing in the background- after 2 mins was deliberately cut off!

Staff walk away while asking them a question…. Don’t see a biggish guy with a beard, Dosent believe in customer service…. Very rude as well

Long story short. My company spends a lot of money with Officeworks and 1 item, a TV arrived and was faulty. The apathetic corporate I. T sales person couldn't care as usual and the Oxley store was not helpful. Ellie and Simon at Garden City are the only reason we will continue to be a customer. Smart, efficient and responsive.

I’ve been here 3 times now within a week to print stuff out. The service is so bad and takes so long when it’s not even busy! There was 3 staff members behind the register with only one serving. It looked like one staff member was doing a click and collect and who knows what the other one was doing. The most recent visit had only one staff member behind the print and copy counter and they were just taking forever with one customer! I think if you’re serving one customer at a time (i.e. Serving, printing, binding, small talk, checking over, finalising order, etc.) there needs to be multiple people on a register…. That process took way too long. I’ve been second in line for 20 mins when all I needed to do was collect an order I had already paid for. Ended up getting someone else to come over to the counter and help me. They struggled to find my order for ages. Another staff member had no people skills, a younger boy…. Overall just bad customer service. Whether it’s a weekday or weekend, have people actually serving the customers in store.

Came here on 1/4/2022, just after lunch. Despite it being very busy with limited staff, Tee at the printing counter was very friendly, helpful and polite. She took the time to serve every customer with the highest level of service. She is very knowledgeable, friendly and a definite asset to the company. Thank you Tee for your help and kind nature.

Went to make photocopy of my documents. I clarified twice that instead of getting one A3 and one A4 as the original documents, I would like to get both in A4. Came back with one A3 and one A4. Was charged $2+ for photocopying two sheets of documents, both one sided. Didnt bother to ask if I wanted black and white or colour either. Didn't want to argue nor wasting the paper. Paid for them but wasn't very happy.

5% price beat honoured by Officeworks Milton but not mt Gravatt. Sohail the manager informed about Milton but still refused to honour the price beat. Sohail really letting the officeworks brand down and deeply damaging the store and its customers. False advertising on the part of Officeworks. Mt Gravatt store should cease to operate under this name and become its own independent brand.

STEVE!
I had recently bought a Mac-book from OfficeWorks which was still in Warranty. I brought it back because it was showing lines on the bottom of the screen. As i spoke to this nice lady she agreed to refund the item.
Then the man STEVE came in and told us he wouldn’t refund the item. He was so stubborn and spoke so rudely just because we were asian. Under the law of Australia since 2011 if an item is faulty and is under warranty it’s illegal for a company to not return it. The man steve was really rude with us and when we told him that we were going to tell ACC he said “ Ok see u then “
And then we ask call the manager and he said
For today I am the store manager
Which kinda looked untrue but whatever.

One of the unprofessional staff member of your team David was so rude and was extremely slow on his work.
He was on print and copy section on 03/03/2022 in the afternoon and don't care about the customer waiting outside.
I do recommend to get some energetic employees.
Never gonna come back to this store.

Genuinely the worst Officeworks Store. Waited an hour for two photos after the printer didn't work. None of the staff seemed to care and after I had exceeded my parking time limit after waiting so long I told them I wanted a refund. Woman at the counter gave me a grand total of 20c for the two photos that didn't print after an hour and didn't even apologise for the inconvenience. They're lazy slugs.

David is the best staff I’ve ever met in Officework. He is an expert at printing section as he is so quick and know everything what you talking about. Come find David! Thank you so much.

There will b a very long wait for an available if you experience some glitches in self-printing and scanning

Just go to another store. Garden city mount gravatt have horrible sour staff.

A big thank you to Simon and the team at Officeworks Garden City for assisting me with an issue with a Microsoft product. The team were able to help solve my problem and offer a refund. Really appreciate their understanding and professionalism, will definitely return to this store in the future, top effort guys thank you

Zero star for a guy working now at the printout section. Don’t know his name but if you wanna know just look for a rude, arrogant, and a guy with worst attitude. Wonder how he still has his job. Don’t think he knows what it means to be at the counter and how to behave. 7 AM and this guy just ruined my day. All the other staff seems really nice and two other staff ladies really helped me so thanks to them.
