Officeworks Cairns

4 staff standing at the front chatting while 1 staff member served the queue of customers this afternoon.

They are my usual go-to place for printing and laminating along with everything else office.
I'm now rethinking that.
24 hours to print and laminate 12 x A3 colour copies?
Then after a "you've got to be joking! " Brought down to 4 - 5 hours later this evening?
A quick call to Copy Shop and its done in 20 minutes.
Really Officeworks, lift your game.

Good store however watch out for the fat lazy computer sales staff called Chad. He is a rude arrogant bogan and is well known around Cairns as a person to keep away from when you go to the store. Cant believe Officeworks continues to ignore his behavior and if he worked for me i would have sacked him on the first day. Other staff there cant stand him.

The customer service in here is outrageously good. Friendliest gang ever, know where everything is and always make sure youre looked after and point you in the right direction. Continuously a top quality place. Cheers for the custom made stamp tonight Lucy and everyone!

The person who helped us was great. We were looking for a cable for our go pro and helped us straight away!

Only one disabled car park for a store of this size. We drive in and out as if I used a normal park and someone parked beside me I could not get the wheel car to the side if the car. Come on these are the problems disabled people had to deal with 20 years ago!
Other than that you are usually great.

Not such bad as comment. I just take for a walk and look around inside, when the staff see me would ask me if I need help.
Also, stationary is cheaper than Target nd Kmart

Went in with a friend then I decided to buy a tablet, asked 2 workers to help me, Alexandra was busy but she said she would send someone, no-one came, asked another guy, he was busy but said he would help when he was finished. Waiting around some more, saw little miss Alexandra on the phone (obviously not caring that I wanted service) then saw the other guy walking down an aisle away from me. Finally I asked the friendly lady that greeted us if she could help, she gladly fulfilled my request and sadly had to apologize for the other 2 "workers" that couldn't find time to sell a $200.00 tablet. Office works cairns, get your shot together! Don't just push off customers that genuinely want to purchase a product! It's bad customer & social skills, being friendly & helpful is in your job criteria and I'm sure your superiors would not like your attitude! If I ever have to go there again, i Will be on the look out for the nice older ladies that are friendly & helpful!
