I came in looking for a laptop, printer, mouse and a keyboard among other things and I’m happy to say that I was pleased with all my purchases. I was also extremely happy with the service provided by Mitchell who helped me find everything I needed with a smile on his face. Even when I asked him to explain the differences between certain printers he would go out of his way to make sure I understood. Very pleased with my experience and I will be returning in the future for sure

Item Purchased: QUDO Clock-Radio (Model QUDOC200BK)
NEGATIVE STARRING It must have taken years of dedicated design work to turn something as simple as a clock-radio into this silicone insanity. The best bit is that it doesn't even keep time all that well. It's already six minutes fast. If you are looking for a simple clock-radio, save yourself a load of grief and buy something else. I would only recommend this product to a friend, if I wanted to lose that friendship. Quite obviously, Officeworks is reduced to selling trash now. Will look elsewhere now for my office supplies.

I am not usually one to complain, but today I had a look at an office chair, chair mat and a white board. I should have grabbed the chair mat last, as I had a lot of trouble trying to carry it to the register. Two staff members watched me struggle with putting the items in the trolley with the awkwardness of the mat. (I didnt want to roll it up as it would lose shape (which the cashier did at the end anyway and now I am at home trying to flatten it out). So while I was struggling with this two staff members, just watched and ignored me when I looked their way, as I struggled with the Chair box and the Chair mat. I am not one to ask for help, but their customer service skills were non existant.
I was going to ask about perchasing some shelving as well (which I also didnt go in for but saw it and liked the design), But decided not to as I didn't want to struggle with that on my own as well. I know social distancing is a thing now, but the offer could have been made to help me carry things to the register. It sucks, because I love stationery and the products that Office Works stock, and I don't get into town very often so I usually make sure that I stop in there when I am. This Time I made a special trip, and needless to say, though I go the chair that I needed, the service was below average.

Absolutely fantastic service!
Big shout out to team member Nathan for outstanding customer service.
I went to purchase an item that had disappeared completely from their system (discontinued stock) - he went out of his way to find out how to locate it within the system & then find a store near Brisbane that had it in stock (the last one in Qld).
He then went above & beyond, called me an hour later to tell me he'd liaised with that store to arrange a way for me to purchase the product & have it shipped to Cairns by courier.
Thanks again Nathan, for your "nothing is too much trouble" attitude & exceptional service.

I must say a huge thank you to Sharon who helped me on the printing desk with a rather specific and annoyingly tricky job. She did it with a smile on her face, quickly discerned exactly what I needed, and made great suggestions. Just really willing to help me out and I cannot say thank you enough!

Went here print documents no one helps but paid to buy credit. Waste your time and to be a member fee
High recommend Cairns copy faster easier no fee

Came in on Monday to grab an item. Was sold out on the shelf but a worker scanned the barcode and said that the shipment was out the back, so come back in a couple of days. I ask “okay great, it’s not like an online only thing or something is it? ” She said “no”. Which made sense given that I was looking at other colour versions of the item I was after.
It is now Thursday and I come in for my item, an $8 bin, only to be told it is “online only” despite the other colours of the bin being on the shelf, and the empty shelf space for the colour I need still being there.

Mixed communication much?

Waited over an hour and a half for just 50 photos. Self service was down. Only 1 staff member serving at photo centre. Didn't even put my prints in an envelope. The prints all ended up with printer lines damaging my photos. I got a refund. Waste of my time!

During our holiday at Cairns we needed a SD Microcard which is compatible with a Gopro Hero action cam. It was no problem to find it at Officeworks. A friendly employee showed us the card before buy. Thank you very much and greetings from Ursi, employee of Office World St. Gallen Switzerland

Poor customer service. Staff doesn’t want to help you at all they just want that customer use self service and do their own thing. They don’t treat customers with a happy face. Disappointed wish I had another option I would never cost this store

The support at the photo shop is absolutely pathetic. After 45 minutes of making photo books it went to print a receipt but of course did not print a receipt and all over red rover. The process changes every time I go there which is not that often: but the lack of staff and support is a joke. They had just 2 staff members and absolutely nobody on the floor helping out the busiest section of the shop. Couldn’t care less how much it cost will never go back there again. Even said something to the lady on the way out of the door and she just said oh they only have two people down there and walked off. Seriously I don’t even know why I gave it one star because it deserves zero stars

Good range of stationary and have clearly wiped the family business stationary shops of mum and dads out.

Shocking online service and pick up deal.

Their assistants have no idea about local school requirements and any important information about the products they sell.

Their assistants are obviously trained in hiding around the corner from customers and stock the shelves when instructed to do so.

Bottom line, for stationary and the odd bargain, they have a good selection.

The printing is great and all, but when there’s a lot of people in the self serve area the staff are just doing nothing and stand there. It’s be nice if they actually help rather have us stand for 25 mins

So poor on online service. What is the whole idea of having Click and collect and the order arrives in Stock 1 month later. You call the office to cancel and they tell you to call a 1300 number. When your calling from overseas unbelievable. And they don't have an email or any number for you to call and cancel which is a total waste or time and money.

Thank you to the staff member who kindly offered me a trolley today while I was on a phone call I had to take.

I was getting storage boxes & was trying to be out of the way while on my call. Your staff member offered to get me a trolley as he was passing by me. Excellent customer service.

Went in to buy a reasonable, durable portable speaker. Products did not provide much information on their packaging. Nathan (Staff Member) approached me, and I asked for further informationn, he advised of all the comparable facts in 2 choices to assist in my purchase. Nathan was very helpful and polite. Great staff member. Thank you. Will definitely be seeking his assistance again.
