Officeworks are great for all your office and back to school needs but in the section where you take your books to be binded is a nightmare. I've had 3 books that I've taken in there to be binded and when I've came to pick them up the pages are in the wrong section, papers are ripped and customer service was useless. They didn't seem to want to help at all. Will never go there if I want my books binded.

Officeworks is great but.in the copy and photo printing area the service is almost non existent. When you finally see someone they are terrific. That whole self serve area needs a roaming service agent who can tweek what you need to do when you need help. As it is you will send down a tap root waiting with an enquiry for help. Such a shame because the technology is there but it has its own idiosyncrasies.service these days is REALLY IMPORTANT. Officeworks needs to lift their game.please!

In October 2022 I took my 7 year old daughter to have her passport photos taken - they could not help me as they were out of photo paper. I had to take her twice after that as everytime they had an excuse as to why they could not take it. Finally got it done. Last week I needed to take my newborn to have passport photos taken. I called in first to make sure they have the correct paper and that everything was in order so that I could take her - they confirmed that they will be able to do it. An hour later we got there and I was told that they just received a new camera and that they still had to figure out the flash. I demanded to be helped as I had a newborn who needed a photo taken and also I called before to make sure that I could bring her in. Long story short, they figured the camera out and after an hour of waiting with an upset newborn in my arms, I was told they are not able to take photos of newborns. Such imcompetence!

Came in around 8pm on a Thursday night to collect a printed photo order. The store was nearly completely empty. Seeing as there were two young guys behind the collection desk just standing there, I thought I'd be in an out in no time. Had to wait a few minutes so the pair could finish their chats. They were both facing towards me and just made a decision to ignore the fact that I was just standing there. Fair enough if they were busy, or didn't see me? But neither are true.

Terrible customer service.

Printing service my rating is based on. Which was easy to use. I only knocked it down a star as it can be tricky sometimes to get in and out instead of waiting lengthy periods of time.

I went in here on a Sunday to get a Simcard, not very good service, just a bunch of kids too busy talking to show me where they were. 3rd person I asked finally told me the right isle. It’s a nice store but yeah, the service needs big improvement.

I have always had good service at Cairns Officeworks, However l would like to further add on each occasion while at the Print and Copy section when l have been attended to by "Vanessa"like this morning, l found her to be consistently friendly, polite, professional and thorough at her job. It is such a pleasureable experience as it means so much to have such great service which is why l continue to return to your business, Thankyou for your attention Gerrie

Great store, great staff, friendly helpful staff even for the older less tech savvy generation

Just spent 25 minutes on hold waiting to ask a question, nobody picked up the phone. Spend less time on hold waiting to speak to someone at Centrelink!

Honestly this is the worst place I have ever been to.
Staff barely help you, they don't care if you have been waiting there for long to assist, they take their time and they make you wait for as long as they want.
Always get charge more for the printing machine and they DO NOT offer any solution. I once asked for some money back and a lady told another staff 'just give her the 20 cents back' in a VERY RUDE WAY.

I would recommend everyone needing to print or make copies to go somewhere else but here.

Big variety of items. Everything you need in an office. Photo printing. Canvas prints, posters, signs, name badges can be ordered.

"Passport photos"are unable to be used for passport applications. Asked for confirmation more than once. The service should be discontinued.

When the team leader is abrupt toward me, after being dismissive and rude to my wife, I’ll never write a favourable review. It’s not good for customer service ratings. Perhaps recruitment should pick their staff for leadership positions a little better? One star. We’ll be back and hopefully a better rating is given.

Terrible service. Had to walk around the store multiple times to find someone to help just to leave me alone for about 15 minutes just to start helping someone else and not let me know. When I went up to the manager didn’t acknowledge me at all and was super rude to me.

Dont even waste your time! Wanted to order a desk and bookshelf and was told by staff simply "no" even though they had an order coming in 2 weeks you can't pre-buy it. Was going to spend thousands and also get a new computer but never ever going back to that place again! Also terrible staff attitude! Don't waste your time!

Jaxon was so helpful, he went above and beyond, when I really didn't know what to buy.
So I 100% recomended officeworks for everything they do.

The worst service ever. There’s never anybody available to help. Long queues to pay or print as there’s never enough staff available!

The service in the printing department is less than one star. The employees are not trained for customer service, they ignore people and when they finally come to help after much waiting, they don’t care at all. Customers are on their own essentially. Don’t bother doing, better to choose a website that specialises in printing canvas than to waste your time, money and energy in Office Works. Worse customer service ever
