Purchased a $6000 Beautyrest Versailles King mattress on 23 Oct 2022.
My Wife and I are Veterans. I suffer chronic pain. I thought I would finally purchase a quality mattress.
Almost immediately the mattress warped out of shape, formed significant sleep depressions and the corners collapsed.
The head of the mattress had to be propped up with rolled towels after only several months. Warranty was submitted on 31 Aug 2023. Numerous pics of mattress had to be sent through for the warranty process (including a straight piece of material [broom handle] laid across the bed) and pics of our brand new king base. We were then notified we will be charged for pick up and delivery of the mattress if deemed dirty and charged for cleaning. Mattress collected by a third party courier. Bed folded almost in half as it was launched into the truck (I have video but for privacy reasons I cant show. Courier was not happy I filmed the collection and challenged me). Result of warranty:
- side tape repair; and
- pillow top replaced.

Harvey Norman reached out post warranty (Matthew King). Matt organised to meet at my house so he could see the post warranty condition of mattress. Waited all day and Matthew didn’t show. Got a call several weeks later to close case. Matthew had left Harvey Norman.
No further assistance provided.
Yes I asked for a full refund and /or replacement.

Does this mattress look like a ‘premium’ mattress? I should have bought a sleeping duck every two years and saved a whole lot of money.

I would be pushing to get $100 on FB marketplace selling this garbage.

I hope this comes across your desk Mr Harvey.

Please see attached pics. Please don’t buy any mattresses affiliated with Beautyrest. Please read your warranty.

Been shopping at Harvey Norman Everton Park for about 15 years. Mostly positive interactions, staff are already excellent helpful and polite, but a recent lap top purchase made me question their morals when selling laptops especially old laptops or end of lines. Lucky I have teenage kids who are IT savvy and saves me from buying a older outdated laptop that they were trying to get rid of. But disappointed with this practice. Be ware. Don’t forget they are a sales based franchise company. So sales staff have to meet targets. I find the warranty offered seems to be a driving factor in all sales staff but this is in every company that seeks extended warrants, keep this in mind. Delivery is outsourced so you pay a premium for anything delivered, and which I would believe HN would get their cut of that delivery fee. It’s all about money, making money of warranties, delivery, so advice is to keep an eye out for sales, but educate yourself first prior to any purchase.

Today, I had asked many re an urgent task I had re transferring a photo of license to desktop from another device. Quite some manouvering.but "Bailey" his nametag said from Harvey Norman Computers was fantastic! He did so quickly what others I had asked today couldn't manage!
I had been to Harvey Norman Computers and will be going again with such great tech back-up. Thank You Bailey!

Even though this store is an hour away from our local store, I will be back. The staff were attentive and not pushy. Monique in bedroom furniture was fantastic, very helpful, and patient. I loved that i wasn't 'hounded' and that Monique wanted me to be happy with my purchase.

I'd called a couple of days before with a furniture query and promptly received an email with all the information I needed.

Great range of white goods, household furniture, kitchen and electrical items with all of your computer and peripheral needs covered under one roof. Knowledgeable helpful staff to asist and answer all your questions. They will work you a pretty competitive deal. Home delivery available for bigger appliances. The computer store features a computer service department that can assist with any hardware and or software issues. I have brought many electronic devices from this store and always found them very helpful and price friendly. They will try to match or better the competition on products they stock. After sales service is very good. With any faulty items that are still under warranty. If they can't repair it, they will replace it, and or upgrade it for you. Update: The whole complex received a renovation to the car park area and new a new access road recently. So its much easier now to access this Harvey Norman as well as other stores in this shopping precinct. Nothing has significantly changed here since I made this original post. No changes as of September 2023

This particular Harvey Norman store goes above and beyond to satisfy customers.

We wanted two different styles of beds, as well as two bedsides for our daughters. Unfortunately, not everything was at the one Harvey Norman. This store was able to get everything together and delivered within one week of contact!

Brilliant customer service from Monique, Jodie and Matt! We thank you for an amazing experience. Highly recommend dealing with these guys.

I would like to thank Amy in the household section at H. N. Everton Park for being so helpful when I was looking for a plastic bottle for my old Soda Stream, I did not realize that there was different sizes and Amy put me on the right track with a very pleasant attitude. I now have wonderful cold soda water.

Bought a new IPad there recently. Knew exactly what I wanted. An IPad and nothing else. Had a young bloke try and sell me accessories which I didn’t want. Then came the extended warranty. Again I wasn’t interested. Then he moved onto what mobile I use and what provider and how great a deal I could get if I changed over there on the spot. You come in to buy a specific product and you get hassled about items you don’t want or need, and by someone young enough to be your son.

In store services was 4 out of five stars. Professional, polite, and no one trying to sell me more than what I was after.
However, the pick department is a 1 out five stars. I had five different people walk past me while waiting to be served, not one asked me if I was being look after. When they did finally serve me It was like it was a chore, not a job. They need to pick up there game.

I have only done click and collect here. I was expecting better service considering I clicked on the link in the email to say that I'm on my way and gave access to my gps. I was expecting them to have the television ready waiting for me. Instead I had to drive to the back of the shop to get the item. 32" television is easy to carry and not that big, so it's seem silly driving around to get it. I did not notice any click and collect parking if you decide to have goods delivered to your car.

Shonkiest business ever!

Two very bad experiences. Purchased an extended warranty on an Apple Watch. Was told because it’s less than $400 they’ll just replace it as their technician has more important things to do. Fast forward a few months, watch will not connect to phone and they will not fix or replace.

Second experience. Was told they were checking my optus account for a better option. WAs dishonesty dealt with. Walked out but discovered later, less days, no home phone, no fetch tv, no international calls and under contract. His name is Josh, steer clear of this guy

Do you love going to get your laptop set up correctly after it wasn’t the first time then being told that it should be an easy hour long fix then finishing up 4 hours later, and throughout the set up having some random woman bag you out for buying a ‘crappy’ laptop and her proceeding to pick it up and feel the weight of your OWN computer without you even giving her permission to do so?
If so HARVEY NORMAN EVERTON PARK IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!

I recently purchased a large flat screen from the audio visual team. Served by Clay who was personable, informative, enthusiastic but not too pushy. Installation done by Marco who Clay recommended (he’s awesome, highly recommend using him). Unfortunately the panel developed a fault within days. Clay was extremely helpful throughout. Despite the TV manufacturer being painful, Clay was instrumental in them accepting that a replacement was needed. He sourced a replacement for me, got it to his store and covered the cost of Marco taking away the busted one and installing the new one. Thanks Clay and the audio visual team for a fabulous customer experience!

The service at the Everton Park store is the best I've experienced. Pete and Matt in bedding have been wonderful and extremely helpful! We're very happy with the quality of the products and the service here.
