I’ve been seeing Dr Sayeem Chowdhury for a while now and he has always been very good to me! He’s a great doctor and very kind and caring. He’s also on time which is very much appreciated. I’m very grateful for his care whilst he has been with Garden City Family Doctors!

The reception staff are also lovely and are always doing their best!

The doctors and reception staff are very friendly, helpful and took amazing care of me. The dr was thorough and caring. Took the time to see me without an appointment and communicated with the pharmacy about my care. Definitely recommend.

Dr Sayeem Chowdhury is the reason I come to this Doctors, he is professional, cares, thorough and usually on time. The nurses are also great- friendly & also caring.

I would have given 5 stars, however the other 1 or 2 doctors I've seen are always running late.
Over the years the receptionists on the phone can often be blunt and not friendly also.

Horrendous experience. Waited an hour and a half for an appointment until I had to leave without having one. Worst customer service and office management I've ever experienced. In the entire time I waited Dr Seedat never emerged from his office, yet I was told he was with other patients. This guy is not running a legitimate practice and should be avoided. Spent money and 2.5hrs out of my day to not even see a doctor. No one should go here.

I have been so happy with my experience at garden city family doctors. It has taken me a while to find a doctor who is a good fit, but I couldn’t be happier with Doctor Seedat. He is so professional and understanding and really builds a good relationship with his patients. The wait time can be long sometimes, but that is common with bulk billing practices as there are so many patients coming through. Highly recommended this practice.

The receptionists are really nice but the doctors are always running late. I have had several appointments here and none of them was on time. My phone appointments are usually half an hour late and in person appoinments are around 1 hour late. The worst thing is the doctor totally forgets to call you. I had to call clinic several times to remind them. Today is particularily bad because I had an appointment at 2: 50 for a referral letter so I can contact a specialist before they close at 4. However, my phone appointment was half an hour late as usual so I called the clinic. They said they will put me through next and I was on hold for another 10 minutes. I had to call receptionists multiple times because the doctor is not responding. Luckily the receptionists were super nice and tried to help. Turned out the doctor was seeing other patients by mistake and forgot about mine once again. This is absolutely ridiculous. I almost could not book my specialist appointment because of it. The poor time management skill in this clinic is shocking. Do not recomment this clinic. Such a waste of your time.

Had to wait 1 hour and 50 minutes without any notice or apology. Reception staff were unbelievably rude and clueless, had no idea what was happening or how much longer we had to wait. We sat there for almost 2 hours watching multiple people who had come in after us go before us. Would never ever go back to this doctor or recommend it to anyone.

Made a complaint about a doctor and the receptionist didn’t even care. She just said your appointment will be a 20 min wait. I made the complaint as one of the male doctors jabbed my arm too hard when it came to getting a needle, was swollen for two days, was very sore and I was in tears. I only had a small swelling the other times.

Caring and efficient staff, always have needs taken care of and willing to go the extra mile and answer any questions you have.

Had my first appointment the other week and saw Dr Paul Efimoff. Did not have to wait that long and he was overly lovely. Most doctors will not prescribe drugs of dependance to new patients, but considering I had proof to show the Doctor that I had a condition causing pain, He was very understandable and kind about the situation and prescribed suitable medication to me.
Will definitely be back to see the same Dr and receptionist staff were nice!

Even though I've moved away from the Mt Gravatt area I continue using this clinic! There is usually a 15-30 minute wait when I get there (but it's a bulk billed clinic so no surprises there) but the receptionists are always lovely and willing to help where they can. I see Dr Malik and she is fantastic - very caring and thorough, moreso than any doctor I've had in the past! Highly recommend if you want to use a bulk billed clinic.

Considering it's a bulk billed service, I think it's excellent. Doctors are thorough, which sometimes leads to longer wait times, but if want a quicker service then pay for it or be prepared to have doctors churn and burn their patients. I've been going there for 3 years and never had any reason to look elsewhere.

There are staff who don’t have a clue of Customer service. If you don’t like your job is time to start looking for something else.

Very good and supportive staff members at reception specially one lady may be Leony who told me about my bupa claim item code which was able to provide me more money back from bupa almost full amount. Moreover, I had an emergency and they have arranged for me an emergency appointment with doctor which was much appreciated. Moreover, it is open all 7 days which is more convenient for me. Doctors are really good too. I had always really great experience at this place and always treated friendly. I always recommend this place.

Their appointments run late and you should plan for a minimum of 30-45 min delay. However if you show up late they send you an sms saying your appointment has been cancelled and you need to rebook. I hate waiting there especially if I am sick as I'd rather be resting at home partocularly as reception staff are usually way wrong with estimated wait times.

I would like to give -5. Waiting time is incredible. Doctor Seedat attitude is the worst I have ever seen in my life.
So polite in review reply but so rude in reality. If you can run away from this practice.

Been coming here for about 8 years now. Wait times are crazy but staff and Dr Seedat are amazing so worth the wait. Nurses there are brilliant so good with kids giving immunisation. Love it. I drive over 20 minutes now to still go to and take my kids there.

I have been attending this practice for 10 years. All the girls at the desk are lovely and are always accommodating. Dr Paul Efimoff is fantastic. The nurses are wonderful as well. I am always treated with respect, and my son also. They are always there for me.

I used to come here for my vaccinations but the waiting time is too long. I don’t know why it’s me, who has to wait 1.5 hours from my appointment. I scheduled my appointment at 11: 20 and still I didn’t called. People who came after me seen the doctor and gone. But I am still in queue, waiting for my turn.
Everything is good here but this much waiting time is really hard for everyone.
